"Helping Transform Maintenance from Reactive to Proactive"
5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

What I like most about MaintainX is its flexibility. We've been able to build and standardize hundreds of preventive maintenance procedures across our facility while giving technicians a simple way to document inspections and identify issues. The ability to track corrective actions, review asset history, attach photos, and generate reports has improved visibility into our maintenance program. It has become a valuable tool for planning, execution, and continuous improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

My biggest challenge with MaintainX is the amount of administrative effort required when making large-scale changes. When you're managing hundreds of procedures, assets, and PMs, bulk editing and mass updates become very important. Reporting has improved significantly, but there is still room to make audits, planning, and data analysis easier to manage. Overall, the platform continues to improve, and many of the challenges are related to scale rather than day-to-day usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly, Fast CMMS with Excellent Implementation Support"
4/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

MaintainX is very user friendly and fast to load. Transitioning through the menus and different pages is a quick and seamless process with little wait time. This app is very easy to navigate and understand.

The implementation team was tremendous. They were helpful in every way they could be and used their resources to find answers to the questions they could not answer right away.

The AI procedure generator is an awesome feature and makes producing standardized and detailed procedures very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

There are a few product features missing compared to other CMMS programs we’ve used.

Multi-day/multi-labor work orders: Not having the ability to assign specific labor time to specific days for technicians on work orders is a real hindrance for maintenance managers trying to accurately track labor time.

User attachments: There’s no way to attach files to technicians’ profiles (for example, certifications). As a result, maintenance managers have to track these items manually outside of the CMMS program.

Multi-asset work orders: They really need to add the ability to attach multiple assets to a single work order. Right now, it’s limited to one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MaintainX: MRO Procurement Must-Have"
5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

As a buyer supporting maintenance from the procurement perspective of the business, Maintain X is extremely easy to use for inventory and order management. It helps align procurement with maintenance teams to achieve company goals while promoting communication and clarity between two departments that are often at odds with each other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

The frustrations I experience with the program are not so much focused within the program itself; more so in that support and focus on development of the purchase orders and inventory modules is slower/not as high of a priority as the more maintenance focused modules, like work orders. "Maintain-X as Our Single Source of Truth—Digitized Procedures, Less Downtime, Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

There are so many things I find great about using Maintain-X. I really like that Maintain-X is becoming the single source of truth for our company, especially since we’re such a large organization. We also love being able to digitize everything in the software, including storing our machine manuals there, so we can use the AI Copilot to help with troubleshooting. Another big benefit is that we can now share parts across all sites, which helps minimize downtime when certain parts have long lead times. The support team really makes sure that they are attentive to what our company's goals are and how dedicated they are to making the software so user friendly, and a breeze for the maintenance team. Our account Managers Sergio and Daniel have been such a HUGE support and are always there for us in times of need. Having all of our procedures at hand is a great as well. our Company is having such a success with Maintain-X now being implemented and I would highly recommend this software. "Easy to Deploy, User-Friendly, and Delivers Clear ROI with Powerful Predictive Maintenance"
5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

There are so many things I appreciate about MaintainX, from how easy it is to integrate and deploy to the level of customer service and ongoing engagement. It’s also very user-friendly for both requesters and full users. We’ve captured a lot of valuable data and produced reliable reporting, which has helped us reduce unplanned downtime on critical assets by 90%—a huge feat in most industries. We’ve also started our journey into predictive maintenance with sensor technology, and the MaintainX vibration team was able to warn us about a catastrophic failure before it happened (as verified by our senior maintenance mechanic). Compared with the L2L and Maximo platforms, the pricing feels fair, and leadership can see the ROI immediately across the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

Some parts of the reporting still need tweaking for me, particularly the ability to compile all data into a single Excel report. From time to time, new features roll out—or changes are made to existing features and reporting—without our knowledge, and we end up having to contact our customer reps just to figure out what’s different.

Another issue is visibility: full users can see all open work orders, but requesters can’t. That gap can easily lead to duplicate work orders being submitted. It would be helpful if requesters were prompted to check whether a similar request already exists before submitting a new one. I’d also like a notification icon within the app itself, similar to the alarm bell in Outlook. Finally, it would be great to have a way to link related work orders together for easier troubleshooting, and I understand this is a feature within the new MaintainX Copilot. "Maintain X Makes Asset Management Easy—Fast Imports, Smart Notifications, Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

The ability to organize our existing inventory sheets from Excel and transfer them into the Maintain X platform easily has been a big plus. Navigation through the software is straightforward, and I like being able to micromanage each piece of equipment with maintenance records, shop diagrams, parts inventories, photographs, and vendors all in one place. Maintain X seems to do it all.

The notification feature is very important to us. Pricing is reasonable, and we hope this will save us hours of time once our onboarding is complete. Support during onboarding has been great. We have not used the integrations feature yet, other than importing data from Excel spreadsheets, which works flawlessly. Performance is fast, with the ability to quickly find a particular asset. We’re still learning the AI capabilities, including its ability to recognize brands of equipment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

So far, we haven’t found any downsides, but we’re still learning about the product and getting familiar with how it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile and Flexible for Maintenance, Inventory, and Record Keeping"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

I like the fact that it is very versatile and flexible in our business. In our case for example we use maintain X for a lot of maintenance and part inventory, but with it being very versatile we have found it very helpful in record keeping for manure handling and more. Plus the customer support is very helpful and quick responses at any time of day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

There are only a hand full of very minor things i dislike, one being that there is only one possibility for unit cost in inventory but there is multiple options for vendors and part numbers, in some instances it would be helpful to see the price of all vendors to better choose where to buy parts from. Another thing we would like to see in the future is the ability to have accumulation meters. Another thing we would like to see is the ability to edit automation on the mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Visibility Across Properties for Stronger Accountability and Performance Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

The visibility it provides. It allows us to see work happening across all properties in one place, which helps with accountability, reporting, and identifying trends before they become larger issues. The data gives us a much clearer picture of how our assets, and employees are performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

There are a few limitations around reporting customization and workflows that I'd like to see improved. Sometimes getting exactly the report or dashboard view you want requires extra work or manual analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MaintainX Streamlines Preventive Maintenance with an Intuitive UI and Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

MaintainX is helpful for myriad reasons. The ability to organize and visualize our preventive maintenance procedures, assets, and parts allows our business to spend less time understanding what we're looking at and more time preventing costly downtime and needless mistakes. On top of that, it helps keep our schedules on point, whether it's maintenance, compliance, or day-to-day tasks. Being able to upload documents and use Copilot to help craft procedures gives us a great starting off point for building our preventive maintenance program. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate. We also enjoy that we have the ability to API our own software with MaintainX. The software runs well, and the staff are knowledgeable and efficient supporters when we need them. All in all, MaintainX is a great value for any business looking to take their facilities maintenance to the next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

There is very little that I dislike about MaintainX. For new users, the depth and breadth of the program can be somewhat intimidating. After using the software for a short while, that feeling is replaced with one of confidence-both in the knowledge of how to navigate the system, and in the system's ability to manage preventive maintenance schedules and keep your business on track and performing profitably. "Highly Customizable Workflows, but Reordering Questions Is Frustrating"
3.5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

I appreciate MaintainX for its capacity for customization. I can easily create or change work orders and procedures to meet the needs of the business. I really appreciate the fact that I can change how the procedure flows based on the technicians' answers. This gives consistent and repeatable direction to the technician. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

I find that moving a field from one position to another within a procedure is quite tiresome, and not always successful. This process involves grabbing the field and dragging it up or down to its desired position and releasing the mouse button. This practice is successful only about half of the time and can be frustrating when you've dragged it past 25 fields. An unsuccessful attempt returns the field back to its original location, where a user must try the movement again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
