I find Magic Heidi really good for independent freelancers like me because it's very simple to use. I don't need any accounting knowledge to use it, which is great. It's easily portable on macOS and my Android phone with an integrated app that's super cool and easy to use. The app is fantastic for saving expenses; I can just take a picture of a receipt, and it extracts all the necessary information like price, place name, and category. The interface is simple, modern, and pleasant to use daily, making things very easy and fast, even for someone with no accounting expertise. It’s very convenient that I can take quick pictures of receipts and have them imported automatically. The initial setup was also very easy and basic, which I appreciate as it gets you going quickly. I mean, can't find right now out of my head any really bad things. There were a couple of bugs here and there. Any the few bags I found, around VAT also, some stuff like that, they were quickly fixed by the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
