## Magic Reviews
  ### 1. Magic Review.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piyush C. | Software Developer, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Magic?**

I like that Magic is easy to integrate and use. It eliminates the hassle of remembering and managing passwords, and it makes the login process faster and smoother. I also like that Magic is secure and decentralized, as it uses blockchain technology to store users’ identities and keys. Magic also offers a generous free tier and affordable pricing plans.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

There is not much to dislike about Magic, but sometimes the magic link emails can take a while to arrive or end up in the spam folder. I wish there was a way to resend the magic link or use an alternative method, such as a QR code or a mobile app.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Magic to authenticate users for my web application. It has helped me to simplify the login process, reduce the risk of password breaches, and increase user retention and engagement. Magic has also saved me the cost and effort of building and maintaining my own authentication system. We even use it at scaler for passwordless authentication.

  ### 2. Up and running in no time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Magic?**

It is great out-of-the-box with just the right amount of advanced features for us.
We needed a quick authentication/login solution for our B2B subscription service and Magic just made that happen without any problems. Integration was a breeze with our custom Webflow site and underlying CRM system.
We had NO technocal issues and with the new login log feature we can trouble shoot the users who mess up during login - incredibly strong argumentation to have when doing customer service!
100s of logins daily so frequency of use is no trouble. Customers support is super helpful and quick to respond.
Pricing is cheap compared to the competition.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

A bit to few visual customization features. We would love to change the layout and wording more to accomodate our users.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are running a B2B substription service and needed a passwordless solution to make sure we can onboard and support the specific users with accounts. Magic made the change to passwordless a breeze.

  ### 3. Magic: your goto wallet

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikhil A. | Staff Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Magic?**

Magic is convenient and accessible from any device. This makes it easier to manage your funds on the go. It supports multiple cryptocurrencies, allowing users to manage various assets in one place.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

Overall the experience is very good with magic but sometimes there are few bugs that may bothers the user for long run.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Magic is solving the authentication for my web applications without need of the password. It makes it very easier to authorize the users and to manage their different currencies in the wallet.

  ### 4. Great for everyday use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wellintgon M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Magic?**

The ease of use of its interface and the resources that are available, as well as the customer service, are very interesting.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

In general, the platform is very good, what bothers me are the bugs that occur.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

usability, with each update the service improves

  ### 5. Secure passwordless authentication with Magic

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avinash U. | DevOps Engineer-I, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Magic?**

The UI of magic links is very appealing and provides excellent customizability concerning login forms and branding. There are many social login providers to choose from, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, GitHub, Apple, etc. There are options to set access control for users and domains, providing security to our applications. Getting started with magic was very easy due to the extensive docs and SDKs to get started and implement as well.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

The pricing is not very clear; users will need to contact support for each feature that has to be enabled. The UX could also improve with the ability to log with an OTP sent to email instead of using links each time.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Magic for authenticating users in our application using email and SMS. Magic's audit of users signing up/logging in is beneficial for monitoring our signups. We were able to ensure users from a specific domain were only able to sign up.

  ### 6. Best and easy to login users.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandrakant S. | Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Magic?**

It is easy to implement authentication of users.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

It should have an alternative login feature also.

**Recommendations to others considering Magic:**

Easy to implement authentication, Rather than making it from scratch using it saves time and efforts.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Authentication is very hard to implement from scratch. It make whole process easy.

  ### 7. Low-code is very refreshing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew G. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Magic?**

I find as a non-coder user, using low-code solutions within Magic has been actually low-code. I have used low-code in the past where it was advertised as low code, but ended up high code.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

While it is low-code, it is quite a complex system to integrate into existing workflows. I had to strongly rely on our IT team to be competent enough to be able to troubleshoot shortcomings of the integration of tools.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made authentication and single-sign-on a lit simpler than our previous process.

  ### 8. Magic simplifies the auth process to another level

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan H. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Magic?**

My favorite aspect is the simplicity of setting it up. The SDK has come in handy for quickly getting new side-projects going without too much configuration. Another thing is the actual product itself. I feel like it's much more secure to be using emails compared to storing sensitive data.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

I wish more flexible pricing options were available on the front page. I'm currently on the Builder tier, although it'd be nice to understand the amount I'd be paying after surpassing that.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Magic has allowed me to solve authentication without much effort. We've found it to be more secure for users and ourselves due to not having to store passwords, along with a better experience in general.

  ### 9. Expensive for us to remove this dependency

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Magic?**

Easy to integrate, good documentation, transparent pricing though better alternatives (like firebase) are available for free.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

Unreliable login for users, extremely slow processing of social login, challenging to rely on in a production environment. It cost significant labour to remove this integration from our product - it was a poor decision that we wouldn't make again.

**Recommendations to others considering Magic:**

Implement with caution and explore free alternatives.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Login, social login without verification, off-site security, passwordless

  ### 10. Easy as... magic

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Magic?**

SSO - I love an easy single sign on... it makes holding repeat visitors and customers just that bit easier. Plus the price point really suits my business.

**What do you dislike about Magic?**

It's difficult to deploy without a technical person. Our in house IT guy struggled.

**Recommendations to others considering Magic:**

Get a techie to deploy it.

**What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly allowing customers to get to the buy page... the less they need to click the lower my bounce rate.
