## Magic Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is Magic free, or does it offer a free trial?

Magic does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

How much does Magic cost in 2026?

Pricing details for Magic are not publicly listed. Users should visit the Magic Labs, Inc.'s official pricing page or contact the vendor directly for current pricing information.

Who is Magic pricing best suited for?

Magic's pricing is best suited for small-business developers and technical founders building web or mobile applications who want fast, low-friction authentication without managing passwords or building auth infrastructure from scratch. G2 reviewers from e-learning, higher education, health and wellness, and B2B subscription services consistently represent this profile, praising the Developer tier's easy SDK integration and generous free MAU allowance. Mid-market IT and software teams also appear among G2 reviewers and benefit from Magic's scalable pay-as-you-go model. Magic's Enterprise tier targets larger organizations needing OIDC integration, NFT features, custom rate limits, and SLA-backed support, particularly those in regulated or blockchain-adjacent industries requiring dedicated implementation assistance.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Magic?

Magic's Developer tier is pay-as-you-go, covering 1,000 free monthly active users (MAUs), then 5¢ per MAU up to 5,000 and 10¢ beyond, with email, Google, and third-party login, web and mobile SDKs, blockchain support, and wallet features included. Magic's Enterprise tier moves to custom MAU-tiered pricing and adds premium auth features, OIDC identity provider integration, custom API rate limits, NFT and smart contract capabilities, guaranteed SLAs, and dedicated implementation support. G2 reviewers note the Developer tier handles high daily login volumes comfortably, though one reviewer flagged limited pricing transparency when trying to understand costs beyond the base tier without contacting support.

Is Magic considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly consider Magic good value, with multiple small-business users across e-learning, health, and B2B services citing affordable pricing as a standout advantage. The Developer tier's 1,000 free MAUs and pay-as-you-go model draw consistent praise for suiting early-stage projects without upfront commitment. One reviewer explicitly notes Magic's pricing is cheap compared to competition. However, a 1-star G2 review flags that free alternatives like Firebase exist, and one reviewer found pricing transparency lacking, requiring support contact to clarify feature costs. Occasional reliability concerns around social login speed temper value perception for production-grade deployments, but the overall 4.0+ average rating signals solid cost-to-value satisfaction among Magic's core small-business audience.

What do you like best about Magic?

It is great out-of-the-box with just the right amount of advanced features for us.

We needed a quick authentication/login solution for our B2B subscription service and Magic just made that happen without any problems. Integration was a breeze with our custom Webflow site and underlying CRM system.

We had NO technocal issues and with the new login log feature we can trouble shoot the users who mess up during login - incredibly strong argumentation to have when doing customer service!

100s of logins daily so frequency of use is no trouble. Customers support is super helpful and quick to respond.

Pricing is cheap compared to the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Magic?

A bit to few visual customization features. We would love to change the layout and wording more to accomodate our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are running a B2B substription service and needed a passwordless solution to make sure we can onboard and support the specific users with accounts. Magic made the change to passwordless a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Magic Review."

4/5

What do you like best about Magic?

I like that Magic is easy to integrate and use. It eliminates the hassle of remembering and managing passwords, and it makes the login process faster and smoother. I also like that Magic is secure and decentralized, as it uses blockchain technology to store users’ identities and keys. Magic also offers a generous free tier and affordable pricing plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Magic?

There is not much to dislike about Magic, but sometimes the magic link emails can take a while to arrive or end up in the spam folder. I wish there was a way to resend the magic link or use an alternative method, such as a QR code or a mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am using Magic to authenticate users for my web application. It has helped me to simplify the login process, reduce the risk of password breaches, and increase user retention and engagement. Magic has also saved me the cost and effort of building and maintaining my own authentication system. We even use it at scaler for passwordless authentication.
