Genny by Lovo AI is an intuitive text-to-speech generator. The (German) voices are great, and the handling of the web service is also intuitive. I liked hearing my private texts read out loud; especially poems can be tested that way to have the right rhythm. I want to point out the kind service, naming Jason in particular, who kindly answered my questions about cancellation of subscription quickly and kindly. I can only recommend this AI. What worked even more efficiently than other text-to-speech engines were the accents in Lovo; I was really impressed by their user-friendly interface and the process of quick enrollment. One unique feature of Lovo is that it customizes its voices to age groups and characters which is possible through a voice classification feature and the pronunciation editor also helps me optimize some specific phrasing. Some more advanced features like, for example content foldering, could make this platform even better. While some models are not attractive, many of them are quite good. Also it's very important to pick the right voice so that the voices don't sound like a robot. There was a very wide range of voices to choose from when selecting the audio to be generated. The ability to tell the AI how to pronounce words generally worked to fix errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest limitation for the plan I was using was the limit of 10 saved voice clips (each limited to 2,000 characters). The limitation this caused was that when going back to edit the generated audio, if the clip had been previously overwritten to stay within the 10 text generation clips, it required a completely new generation which takes time and uses the generation credits (which were generally ample on a plan offering 2 hours of audio generated per month). Very easy to learn to use. Pro version has ample voices. Like the ability to change the reading speed and to build a pronounciation table for hard-to-pronounce words. Very easy to get MP3 or WAV files exported and saved to my PC, so I can edit the files in Audacity and then import them into the presentation applilcation I'm using the sound bytes for. It would be nice to have a "global" pronounciation table, instead of needing to build one for each project (or copy projects). It seems that if the pronounciation is not quite right and I have to regenerate it, then I am being charged for the regeneration of the text-to-speech script. Some guidance on better use of the pronounciation tables and the use of spaces and hyphens would be helpful. Wish that the text-to-speech generation time was faster (not sure if the issue is processing time or up- and down- speed between my computer and the applicatiion over the internet. I love that LOVO is the most effective and userfriendly voice and text to speach voice platform with over 500+ voices( you can choose wether male or female) in 100 languages to choose from, this feature alone really bosts our organization as its a higher education and it covers students from different parts of the world, the languages helps us market ourselves better to non english speaking countries. LOVO helps us save costs and time, we no longer need personel to do voice overs or buy those expensive equipments to market, it just generate professional voices in minutes. The onlive video editor gurantees us good quality videos which we can also add subtitles, customize and animate in just few steps. The voice clonnnig helps us generate unique voices that separates us from the rest, makes us stand out, known and heard.
