LOVO Reviews & Product Details

I used lovo services(AI studio) to learn and make some videos with music and cool looking images to tell stories to kids and to my believe this platform is best. Apart from this, i had an interaction with Jason(Customer support executive) regarding my subscription and to my surprise, it was resolved immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing, everything as per their services are really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Genny by Lovo AI is an intuitive text-to-speech generator. The (German) voices are great, and the handling of the web service is also intuitive. I liked hearing my private texts read out loud; especially poems can be tested that way to have the right rhythm. I want to point out the kind service, naming Jason in particular, who kindly answered my questions about cancellation of subscription quickly and kindly. I can only recommend this AI. Thank you very much! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I fully enjoyed this service. Thank you! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been exploring voice options for my business and had lots of questions. Jason in the customer service team went above and beyond to help. He was quick and responsive with his answers. Thanks, Jason! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The processing speed was ultimately too slow for our chatbot needs, which is a shame, because the voice options, especially for UK English were better than other companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What worked even more efficiently than other text-to-speech engines were the accents in Lovo; I was really impressed by their user-friendly interface and the process of quick enrollment. One unique feature of Lovo is that it customizes its voices to age groups and characters which is possible through a voice classification feature and the pronunciation editor also helps me optimize some specific phrasing. I purchased Lovo because I own and have used many text-to-speech tools, like Lisntr and Play.ht, but it has great vocal models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some more advanced features like, for example content foldering, could make this platform even better. While some models are not attractive, many of them are quite good. Also it's very important to pick the right voice so that the voices don't sound like a robot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There was a very wide range of voices to choose from when selecting the audio to be generated. The ability to tell the AI how to pronounce words generally worked to fix errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest limitation for the plan I was using was the limit of 10 saved voice clips (each limited to 2,000 characters). The limitation this caused was that when going back to edit the generated audio, if the clip had been previously overwritten to stay within the 10 text generation clips, it required a completely new generation which takes time and uses the generation credits (which were generally ample on a plan offering 2 hours of audio generated per month). I needed help doing text to speech for my podcast due to not having any privacy in my house! LOVO did just that. It led me to Genny which is my go to now! I even created my own ai generated voice that is pretty close to what I really sound like. SO IMPRESSED Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The cost is a little high for some of us that are just starting out in this industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has been a while since I have needed or looked at artificial voices for narration on our projects and I was blown away at the technological advances which have been made by LOVO. The clarity and choice of voices available is outstanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I initially struggled to find how to clone a voice but managed in the end. Other than that it is hard to find fault. Excellant product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LOVO offers a versatile range of voices suitable for various purposes, from professional narrations to casual voiceovers. The ability to experiment with different voices and customize them according to specific needs adds a level of flexibility that is highly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the main downsides of LOVO is the limitation on free options. While the free tier does provide access to some features, many advanced options and high-quality voices are locked behind a paywall. This can be a barrier for users who need more extensive capabilities but have budget constraints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very easy to learn to use. Pro version has ample voices. Like the ability to change the reading speed and to build a pronunciation table for hard-to-pronounce words. Very easy to get MP3 or WAV files exported and saved to my PC, so I can edit the files in Audacity and then import them into the presentation application I'm using the sound bytes for. Like the volume level for the audio which is being generated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be nice to have a "global" pronunciation table, instead of needing to build one for each project (or copy projects). It seems that if the pronunciation is not quite right and I have to regenerate it, then I am being charged for the regeneration of the text-to-speech script. Some guidance on better use of the pronunciation tables and the use of spaces and hyphens would be helpful. Wish that the text-to-speech generation time was faster (not sure if the issue is processing time or up- and down- speed between my computer and the application over the internet. I love that LOVO is the most effective and user-friendly voice and text-to-speech platform with over 500+ voices (you can choose whether male or female) in 100 languages to choose from. This feature alone really boosts our organization as it's a higher education institution and it covers students from different parts of the world. The languages help us market ourselves better to non-English speaking countries. LOVO helps us save costs and time; we no longer need personnel to do voice-overs or buy those expensive pieces of equipment to market. It just generates professional voices in minutes. The online video editor guarantees us good quality videos which we can also add subtitles, customize, and animate in just a few steps. The voice cloning helps us generate unique voices that separate us from the rest, making us stand out, known, and heard. I sincerely acknowledge LOVO for our success.
