I have used Looker Studio to make our patient reports, connecting ED and PE scores and personal details from Google Sheets to Looker Studio. It was very helpful for our patients to see their progress, and as an organization, it was super cool because we didn't have to worry about anything; Looker Studio managed it on its own. What I like best about Looker is how it lets our entire team explore data without needing to write SQL every time. The LookML layer is the real game-changer — once the data model is set up, business users can build their own dashboards and pull reports on their own, which has drastically reduced the number of ad-hoc request tickets coming to our analytics team.

The reusable blocks and custom dimensions make it easy to maintain consistency across reports — everyone is looking at the same numbers calculated the same way, which has cut down on a lot of confusion during meetings.

My favourite thing in Looker is going to be having all our metrics in single place which has really user friendly user interface and we can easily navigate and filter as per our requirements and it also helps to non technical person for looking for any analysis. In our case, Looker Studio is used by the Marketing department to forecast sales for upcoming years based on previous years’ data. It also includes its own AI component to support forecasting. There’s really nothing to dislike. Since it’s a Google product, the support is good, and the platform feels stable and reliable overall. Administration and ongoing maintenance are straightforward, which makes it easy to manage day to day.

On top of that, it can connect through different connectors such as BigQuery, as well as partner connectors like Facebook Ads and more.
