logcohort Reviews & Product Details

Logcohort is a session replay tool designed to help developers and product teams understand user interactions on their websites. By recording real user sessions and playing them back like videos, Logcohort provides insights into user behavior, highlighting issues without the need to reproduce bugs manually. The tool integrates console errors and failed network requests directly into the session timeline, offering a comprehensive view of user experiences. One of Logcohort's key features is its ability to identify user frustrations. It flags rage clicks, dead clicks, error clicks, and abandoned forms, allowing teams to filter sessions where users encountered difficulties. Logcohort also tracks user journeys across multiple products and subdomains. By utilizing first-party cookies and user identification methods, it connects sessions from marketing sites to applications. For developers, Logcohort simplifies the debugging process: each replay includes console logs and network activity synchronized with user actions, and engineers can open deep-linked sessions that pinpoint the exact moment of failure, complete with the failed requests and console errors. Installation is straightforward: add a small script before the closing tag or via Google Tag Manager; the script loads asynchronously and captures only event data — never request or response bodies. Privacy is a core consideration: by default, all user inputs are masked within the visitor's browser before any data is transmitted, and additional masking options are available through class selectors or dashboard settings.
