## Locker Password Manager Reviews
  ### 1. Robust zero-knowledge password manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca P. | Chief Operations Officer DEQUA Studio | Formerly CTO in MarTech, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Locker Password Manager?**

I’ve been evaluating Locker Password Manager as our organization’s credential management solution, and I’m impressed by its technical foundation built by CyStack, a cybersecurity company with proven expertise in the field. The software demonstrates several enterprise-grade capabilities that address modern security requirements:

Military-grade AES-256 encryption with zero-knowledge architecture - The implementation uses end-to-end encryption where data is encrypted and decrypted locally on devices, ensuring neither Locker nor any third party can access stored credentials

	•	Cross-platform synchronization with offline capabilities - Native applications across web, mobile, browser extensions, and desktop environments provide seamless data sync, with offline mode available on mobile platforms for credential access without internet connectivity

	•	Open-source transparency and audit capabilities - The codebase is publicly available on GitHub, allowing for independent security audits and community contributions, which significantly enhances trust and verification processes

	•	Advanced authentication mechanisms - Support for FIDO2-compliant passwordless authentication and biometric login via FaceID/TouchID provides modern access control options beyond traditional password-based authentication

	•	Comprehensive API integrations and developer tools - The platform offers CLI tools and SDKs for popular programming languages including Python, NodeJS, GoLang, and Java, enabling seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation

	•	Built-in security monitoring and compliance features - Dark web monitoring, password health checking, and customizable password policies support compliance with standards like NIST 800-63B and HIPAA requirements

**What do you dislike about Locker Password Manager?**

The roadmap is continuously evolving, constantly updated and rich. So far, I haven't found anything I dislike and I am confident that the product will grow and evolve even more.

**What problems is Locker Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I implemented Locker Password Manager for our Dev Team to address credential sprawl across multiple cloud services and internal applications. The deployment resulted in measurable security improvements: we reduced password reuse incidents and eliminated shared credential storage in unsecured locations like spreadsheets and chat platforms.
The integrated secrets management functionality allowed our DevOps team to centralize API keys and database credentials, reducing manual credential rotation time.

  ### 2. No support!

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Locker Password Manager?**

They advertise a lot but once you ask a question... well no answer from the support. Be prepared to be on your own and be ignored!

**What do you dislike about Locker Password Manager?**

Interce is not intuitive and there is no support to answer you questions

**What problems is Locker Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pasword vault... at least they are trying!

  ### 3. It has potential, it's just a matter of patience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge Armando H. | Agency Owner, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Locker Password Manager?**

It is a very good alternative, stable and economical for password managers. Ensure to keep the customers happy and their attention so far is good.

**What do you dislike about Locker Password Manager?**

The stability of the application tends to vary a lot, it shows potential, nowadays it is still in development and still has some errors, it's just a matter of being patient while they fix them.

**What problems is Locker Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security and centralize access to my accounts on multiple platforms.

  ### 4. Promising new password manager

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hoang Viet N. | Caseworker, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Locker Password Manager?**

Feature packed (password and OTP, email alias). Cloud sync across platforms. Can be used entirely by browser extension without the need to install a desktop app.

**What do you dislike about Locker Password Manager?**

The software is still in its early days of development. There are many things needed to improve. For example: no color coding for different character types (number, lower character, capital character, special character), no custom field, rather poor form recognition and form filling. The setup of an app login and a master password is quite clumsy. App randomly logs out.
Promissing, yes. But needs a lot of improvement to have a chance against the big boys out there (Lastpass, Roboform, Bitwarden, etc).

**What problems is Locker Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want a password manager that is cloud sync and that can work solely with browser extension, not relying on a desktop app. Locker does that and more, with the email alias feature. The free tier also holds both password and OTP codes, so that's great. But the lack of custom fields and poor form recognition mean occasionally it takes some time to fill a form propertly.

  ### 5. Locker Password is a great place to keep all your passwords accesible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BJ L. | Environmental Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Locker Password Manager?**

It syns with all of your devices and automatically enters username and passwords to save you time and from having to reset passwords

**What do you dislike about Locker Password Manager?**

Sometimes it can get a little confused on what the username or email is that is associated with a password

**What problems is Locker Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not have to spend time tracking and looking up my passwords, and now have everything in one spot that works over all my devices. I do not have to reset passwords because I forgot them and spend the time going through the steps for setting new passwords.

  ### 6. I believe Locker has the potential to be among the top three password manager applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hanif Y. | Licensed Financial Planner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Locker Password Manager?**

- user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) are highly user-friendly- a feature for generating email aliases, which I find essential for helping users maintain their privacy.
- It includes an auto-fill function that works not just for passwords but also for personal identities

**What do you dislike about Locker Password Manager?**

- need to improve more on auto-fill function for personal identities. To enhance this further, I would like to see Locker incorporate a small auto-fill icon in forms, similar to what RoboForm offers.

**What problems is Locker Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autofill Functionality: The application automatically fills in login information and can generate strong passwords directly within its autofill screens, enhancing user convenience and security
Custom Fields: While Locker allows for custom data entry, some users have noted the absence of fully customizable data types, which could enhance usability for specific need

  ### 7. Great Option for a All in one password manager

**Reviewed by:** Arjun G. | Co-Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Locker Password Manager?**

**What do you dislike about Locker Password Manager?**

App crashes
Autofill not working sometimes

**What problems is Locker Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy of share

  ### 8. Trialed but wen't with a different solution

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Locker Password Manager?**

Lots of features, easy to set up, good customer service

**What do you dislike about Locker Password Manager?**

The desktop app was lacking in functionality, it was basically just a wrapper for the webUI

**What problems is Locker Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central storage of passwords
