I can have all of that for free by using this product. Also it uses less resources than others. **What do you dislike about Lighttpd?** It has small community and some compatibility issues with the configuration. **Recommendations to others considering Lighttpd:** It is free & open source software! The best tool you can have! **What problems is Lighttpd solving and how is that benefiting you?** All of my resource related problems are finally solved! It changed my server performance to High! Granted I don't use it at an enterprise level necessarily, but I've never had a single issue with it. It simply does what it's supposed to. **What do you dislike about Lighttpd?** There's nothing to dislike. It's free/open-source and comes packaged with a lot of other open source stuff on the web. **Recommendations to others considering Lighttpd:** Lighttpd is fast and lightweight. It does what is expected (serves files/works with various languages) and I've never encountered any issues in using it. **What problems is Lighttpd solving and how is that benefiting you?** For one lighttpd is known for being lightweight and speedy. It's certainly sped up our processes where it's used and is extremely stable. It handles everything I've thrown at it without a hitch. ### 3. Basically its a web Server that is open source and can run over Linux and windows. Moreover applications built with any programming language can be supported. Main thing is that it balance your system load. **What do you dislike about Lighttpd?** It doesn't support IIS api that is ISAPI. It offers better set of functions compared to other servers. It is single threaded and non blocking tool which makes us manage our resources more efficiently. It is easy to use and more simple to use. **What do you dislike about Lighttpd?** Lighttpd sometimes didn't perform well and it lacks in supporting WSGI. It is not compatible with some Apache configuration. **What problems is Lighttpd solving and how is that benefiting you?** All my web server related problems came to an end with Lighttpd as I need not to worry about my memory consumption as it can be used with low main memory. ### 7. So in this way, I don´t need to have or add a new server in order to utilize it and It is Extremely fast especially for static content by using low memory footprint and helps in having more connections. **What do you dislike about Lighttpd?** Sometimes Lighttpd will have stability issues and also incompatibility with some of the Apache configurations.
