LexisNexis Nexis for Development Professionals Reviews & Product Details

This is a great tool. It's a one-stop shop, easy to use, and accurate. I use it throughout the day, every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a great tool, though I wish it could filter results by email address. Not a deal breaker by any means. Just being nit picky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use it all the time! The data is incredibly accurate and has been key in helping us identify prospects. I love the amount of features available, though this can be a double edge sword. I especially love the donation feature; since we no longer have iWave, having this in Nexis has been a lifesaver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a little pricey. While it's worth what it costs, it makes it difficult to add users as my team grows. Also, there are so many features that sometimes it's overwhelming, especially since they aren't always easy to find. It would be helpful if NDP sent out regular webinars around features available in nexis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Through its public record search Nexis for Development Professionals offers a complete comprehensive record report on individuals that I am researching Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Possible employment and possible education data not very reliable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It, by far, has the most robust collection of information on real property records of any service out there. I use it every single day for prospect research and gift capacity rating analysis. We have many tools and many ways to find this information, but LNDP is always the most accurate that I have found. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because it is so large and so complex I often have to figure out what is and isn't in LNDP. I guess I just would like a more robust training program focusing on specific resources for everyday prospect research work. Just a preference. An easier way to find what is available to search is the best way I can put my request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to use, comprehensive, up to date, and authoritative. I trust its data and am confident if it exists, Nexis can find it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some menus not intuitive in terms of naming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The information is accurate most of the time. I get in depth insight on the donors, prospects and companies I’m researching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that some emails are inaccurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The search feature is powerful, and I can find so many news articles dating many years back. The real estate records help gauge wealth capacity. Birthdates, voting registrations, criminal records, possible family members, emails, phone numbers, the list goes on. Lots of good info on there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't blame Lexis Nexis, but Asian names still hard to figure out gender sometimes, however, it's not uncommon to have an Asian individual's Anglocized name connected to their record. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was using Nexis for development professionals in my previous company and I wanted to share some experiences with this tool which I liked the most. First, this platform's donor profile and its advanced search capabilities are insane to help us target our fundraising. Second, I like its real-time data tracking to keep us updated and to make sure that our team has access to the most current information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't think there is anything I find to dislike. I have enjoyed using this tool at my previous company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nexis for Development Professionals is a must have for any database oversight team. It is our number 1 tool to use for researching prospects to ensure we are tracking the correct person, have the right address and to determine if they have passed away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a need for caution when researching within Nexis. Just because a data point is shown as current, such as an address, does not mean that it is. Further research within the Nexis profile or other tools may be necessary to determine for certain. Additionally, parent/child relationships sometimes get tangled when a parent buys a home for the child or the parent and child have the same name. Looking at the data holistically is a must. The ability to find addresses, current and historical and professional licenses. I like the ease of the comprehensive report. I like the ability to drill down into the public records and use the advanced search if needed. There is great training available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like the comprehensive report to include data from the company search. I also do not like the way the donor records are stored. I would like the ability to do batch searches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
