"Focusing K8 with Lens"

What do you like best about Lens?

Lens help us modify check logs and all resouces for K8 in easy manner, no need of commands anymore if lens is being used. Even developers can troubleshoot with Gui logs provided by Lens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lens?

Easy way to view all running services

A quick way to roll back images or scale the instances up/down

Great way to get all the env variables used by the service

What do you dislike about Lens?

It was not very easy to install on Debian testing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Lens:

If you want to use it on Debian testing - the most difficult part is to install all the dependencies first. Once that's done - there are no issues with upgrading lens and using on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lens solving and how is that benefiting you?

For me, as a developer Lens is very useful to monitor the state of services on staging/production and watch that everything is correct when deployment happens - and if something goes wrong - there is a way to roll back. I also like to use it to align my local development environment with that on staging and prod - app versions and env variables are easy to get with Lens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you update some properties of Ingress or PODS, usually there are some very ugly errors that show up and sometimes the change gets applied and sometimes it doesn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
