**What do you like best about LearnThatWord?**

I recently discovered this website and it is very helpful and fun, it is very user-friendly, and its great for all ages, you do learn and if you are a native speaker you can expand your vocabulary. It is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop your communication skills by adding more words. There is so much to like of this site because by learning new words you can improve your communication skills and also grow professionally, learning new words its been a great opportunity for me personally.

**What do you dislike about LearnThatWord?**

The site seems to be not very professional despite being very helpful, some noises when you study the words are very distracting, the interface is sometimes confusing and to enjoy all benefits you must become premium, which is a minor downside. However, the website is helpful overall. There is not much to dislike about the site, very minor complaints that can be overlooked because of all the benefits you gain by learning new words to have a better communication.

**What problems is LearnThatWord solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing more words for my vocabulary helps to hone and improve communication skills, which is something that benefits when redacting emails or when going into interviews, having a rich vocabulary is extremely helpful because this way you do not tend to be repetitive in your conversations. The most benefit that I am getting is to improve my vocabulary since English is not my native language it has given me the opportunity to learn more words to be more professional and to express myself better, which has provided me great opportunities in my professional area. Main problem that is solving is me being more confident due to a high level of communication skills, this because of the knowledge gained with new words.

**What do you like best about LearnThatWord?**

The best thing I like about LearnThatWord is that it provides an easy approach to learn vocabulary and spellings. It is designed for everyone from a beginner to an expert and every person can take advantage from it. It does not matter where you sit and where from you belong it will help you to improve your language skills. Because I love to use my phone and it's hard for them to focus on books, I used this online tool to improve my English. Its free of cost and you just need access to internet to learn English.

**What do you dislike about LearnThatWord?**

The website’s user interface is not intuitive and doesn’t look professional from the first glance. Also it is not completely free to use and you have to get premium membership to avail to get advanced features.

**Recommendations to others considering LearnThatWord:**

In this modern age, every person wants to use the internet to learn new things and it’s not always possible to learn via books. That's why LTW is best to improve the language at free of cost.

**What problems is LearnThatWord solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LTW helps you to learn vocabulary and spellings in a fun way. I grabbed this opportunity to learn vocabulary for clearing the TOEFL and IELTS exam. It gave me the knowledge about the origin of words and their definitions. It features like Quizzes, Audio files and Live videos are very helpful to me. I can also make my own spelling list and can check it any time when I want.

The Online word gym is exactly what education should be. As they say, this is cognitive neuroscience and it is “all about you” instead of cramming for a test with no incentive to truly comprehend. They condense all the reference book content into one.

I teach ESL students and this program is great for referring students to study and quiz themselves when expanding their English language vocabulary and understanding.

  ### 9. Great Vocabulary Tool for ELLs and Other Students

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rianna R. | English Teacher, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about LearnThatWord?**

I like how easy it is to customize your content based on your learning needs and the level of education /grade where you want to begin. As a teacher, I like that this is one resource that I could use across multiple grades. There is also a lot of choice in deciding what you would like to learn and how.

**What do you dislike about LearnThatWord?**

I really do not like the use of tokens on the website. While I appreciate being able to use the website for free, limits put on by premium features make it much less likely that I will use this site consistently or choose it to replace my current online tools. I also think the design of the website is not particularly attractive or user friendly.

**What problems is LearnThatWord solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an educator in a mixed classroom, it is difficult to provide vocabulary that challenges all of the students in my classroom appropriately. This allows me to differentiate both the vocabulary I teach and the way in which I teach it.

  ### 10. Loving Learn That Word!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle H. | ESOL Teacher, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2017

**What do you like best about LearnThatWord?**

I love all of the features. Students get a definition of a word with translation available (awesome for my ELL students), synonyms, origins, idioms, and even current and relevant videos with the word being used! It is just an amazing tool for independent study of words.

**What do you dislike about LearnThatWord?**

The only thing I dislike is the interface. It could be more visually appealing.

**Recommendations to others considering LearnThatWord:**

I highly recommend that you begin using LearnThatWord with students as soon as possible. The beginning of the year for sure. It allows students to add more and more vocabulary words to their lists.

**What problems is LearnThatWord solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to provide this website to students for use at home to develop their vocabulary skills. It is a useful way for ELL students to actually practice vocabulary in a meaningful manner.

  ### 11. Perfect helping tool to ensure students get a grasp of the language

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2017

**What do you like best about LearnThatWord?**

The quizzes are really good in that they get the competitor out of a student. By participating in quizzes, students feel a sense of satisfaction and this really helps them get motivation to succeed.

**What do you dislike about LearnThatWord?**

The overall wesbite, while very good, just doesn't have a professional vibe to it and some parents are put off by the system because it just doesn't look as if it is built for professional use. This could do with an overhaul.

**Recommendations to others considering LearnThatWord:**

I would definitely try this tool out as simply an aide to your work, but once you realise how good it is, you may be using this software more than you think.

**What problems is LearnThatWord solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many many students who have come from overseas look to better their English, or indeed some English-born students want to simply get a better grasp of English Language and this tool helps them do just that.
