Ongoing annual cycles can be more of a challenge because this product assigns responsibilities to individuals rather than organisational positions. The champion must be a person that likes to be able to document, and will need to interact with many owners of applications across the business units, so the more competent champions the better. Also, develop good governance to make sure that the information provided is reviewed and approved. The tool provides good structure for that. **What problems is SAP LeanIX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Be able to view our Enterprise Architecture, road maps, end of life, interaction and relationship between applications and other layers of the architecture, ownership for the different systems. Benefits are mostly visibility and being able to proactively make plans for replace, upgrade, etc. ### 34. Fundamentally, LeanIX is a graph database platform optimized for collaboration and automation -- and tailored for enterprise architecture use cases. With this, we can model and analyze the facts about and relationships between our capabilities, systems, processes, and technology components -- both as-is and to-be. (also, LeanIX Support team is very responsive!) **What do you dislike about SAP LeanIX?** LeanIX is still maturing. I trust the foundations (data integrity and availability) -- but sometimes encounter rough edges with the user experience (which I promptly report to support!). Also, while the APIs are complete, we would like to see out-of-the-box integration with reporting tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or QuickSight. **What problems is SAP LeanIX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fundamentally, we are solving a portfolio management problem. We need to manage our technology as a portfolio that is optimized to enable business outcomes.
