Lacima Trader is a suite of trading, structuring and valuation tools designed specifically for Front Office professionals in energy and commodity markets. Built for fast, ad hoc analysis, Lacima Trader helps traders, originators, structurers and analysts analyse deals and scenarios, structure transactions, value complex instruments and understand the drivers of value and risk. The suite combines specialist energy and commodity analytics with the flexibility of Microsoft Excel, allowing users to work within familiar trading processes while accessing sophisticated valuation, simulation and optimisation capabilities. DESIGNED FOR ENERGY AND COMMODITY MARKETS Energy and commodity instruments often involve complex contractual features, optionality and market-specific characteristics. Lacima Trader supports analysis across a broad range of markets, including power, natural gas, LNG, crude oil and refined products, metals and soft commodities. Users can analyse instruments across multiple commodities, geographies and currencies within a consistent analytical framework. Lacima Trader is designed not only to calculate values and risk sensitivities, but also to help users understand what is driving them. Detailed drill-down capabilities allow users to move from high-level results to underlying trades, model inputs and analytical outputs, including Greeks, unit Greeks, model parameters and individual simulations. FLEXIBLE TOOLS FOR YOUR WORKFLOW Lacima Trader products can be used as stand-alone tools, within Excel-based trading workflows or as components within in-house valuation and risk analysis solutions. The modular suite allows organisations to select the capabilities they need and expand over time. Users can work with provided templates, develop customised analysis and incorporate Lacima's analytics into their own applications and processes.
