# Which theater venue management platforms offer point of sale integration with ticketing and inventory systems?

I would really like to know which theater venue management platforms offer point of sale integration with ticketing and inventory systems. Point of sale sounds simple until you actually need the credit card reader, the cash drawer, and the inventory count all talking to each other at once during a rush before curtain.

AudienceView Professional: reviewers describe integrating a credit card reader directly into the sales flow, though more than one reviewer specifically wished they could also connect a cash drawer, which isn't currently supported.

ThunderTix: reviewers describe built-in support for connecting to BrainTree for payment processing, plus Google Tag Manager for tracking, giving a reasonably complete picture from sale to reporting.

Spektrix: reviewers describe integration with WordPress for the box office website and DotDigital for email marketing, which covers the sales and marketing side well, though inventory or physical POS hardware isn't something reviewers mention specifically.

For anyone who's actually run point of sale through one of these during a live rush, opening night, a sold out show, did the integration hold up under that kind of pressure, or did you end up falling back on a manual process for anything urgent?

<p>"POS" in a theater quietly covers two systems the title fuses: ticketing payment, which every tool here handles, and physical concessions or merch sales with stock counts, which almost none of them touch. The inventory in the question is usually the bar and merch table, and that lives in its own POS world like Square or Toast, so the real gap isn't the box-office card reader, it's whether ticket revenue and bar or merch revenue ever land in one report. For anyone who's run a bar alongside ticketing: did you get those reconciled inside one system, or end up stitching two exports together after each show?</p>
