Who is Kleos pricing best suited for?

Kleos's pricing is best suited for mid-market companies (51–1,000 employees) managing distributed international contractor networks, based on the concentration of G2 reviewers from that segment across financial services, retail, IT, and construction. The €50 Contractor of Record tier fits small businesses and growing teams needing compliant cross-border payments without entity setup — G2 reviewers in consulting, food and beverages, and marketing confirm this use case. The Employer of Record tier starting at €200 targets mid-market and enterprise buyers hiring full-time abroad, with enterprise reviewers in healthcare, IT services, and retail citing compliance consolidation and workforce scalability as primary drivers for adopting Kleos's higher tier.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Kleos?

Kleos does not offer a permanent free tier. According to G2's pricing data for Kleos, a free trial is available for teams evaluating the service before committing. Kleos's paid plans comprise two tiers: the Contractor of Record at €50 flat per payout, covering compliant contracts, cross-border payments, KYC, tax documents, and a full audit trail; and the Employer of Record starting at €200, adding legal employment without a local entity, local labour law compliance, statutory tax filings, and benefits administration. Custom enterprise quotes are also available. Contractors pay nothing under either tier, and G2 reviewers consistently highlight the transparent, flat-fee structure as a key differentiator.

Is Kleos considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers consistently rate Kleos at 5.0/5, signaling strong satisfaction relative to its pricing. The flat-fee Contractor of Record tier at €50 per payout is repeatedly praised for eliminating unpredictable conversion fees and variable transaction costs — a recurring theme across mid-market and small business reviews in financial services, retail, and consulting. G2 users in construction, food and beverages, and IT highlight that predictable flat-rate pricing directly improves budget forecasting. One reviewer switching from Deel Hire to Kleos cited streamlined compliance and reduced overhead as key value drivers. Minor concerns around API documentation and initial setup time appear frequently but never overshadow the core value sentiment.

"Seamless Multi-Currency Billing and Compliance-Ready Onboarding"
5/5
What do you like best about Kleos?

Our SDR tracking has faced delays in the past because we had to comply with in-country regulations paperwork and international independent contractor billing. Kleos faced these challenges as the cross-border payment of the contract to the system was by a foreign contractor. Our system functioned seamlessly at every billing cycle and did not cause a slow down in any part of our accounts. Since the pay-out pipeline operates in multiple currencies, there is no delay in processing times or currency conversion fees. Onboarding documentation for every jurisdiction is automated so that our country operation & market-entry are compliance ready from day one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kleos?

Though it would need scheduling on our end for the initial setup time, they have never stopped the monthly transaction processing. Based on the standard implementation timeline, there is a lot of discussion, and planning with their validation team to validate the special local contract clauses before the live onboarding of contractors in detail. We could also leverage with stronger engineering practical examples within their self service developer docs for connecting internal tracking dash boards via the API.
