Kitabs.ai Reviews & Product Details

Kitabs.ai handles a document, article, book or multi-volume work as one coherent whole: translation, independent checking against the source, editing and proofreading at three depths, scholarly apparatus, print-ready typesetting, IDML and EPUB. Reads 100+ source languages and translates into 26, with more on the way. Expert review or autopilot. Your first two fragments are free, no card required. For authors and self-publishers: from manuscript to finished layout and cover. Download the translated and edited text as DOCX, PDF, MD or TXT, or get the typeset book as a print-ready PDF, IDML or EPUB. For publishers: the work as a whole, with a shared glossary of names and terms, careful handling of footnotes and quotations, and seamless assembly of fragments; team roles and areas of responsibility are built in. For translators and editors: an AI auditor checks the translation against the source and passes discrepancies to the editor in charge; in expert mode, the editor reviews the changes with explanations and accepts or rejects them. For researchers: recognition of scans, manuscripts and early printed books, including Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Ottoman texts, with automatic generation of the scholarly apparatus: footnotes, glossary, notes on persons and annotations. For Islamic texts: Quranic verses from established translations, hadith with their isnad, and takhrij; in expert mode, a text is final only after a qualified scholar approves it. The third quarter of al-Ghazali's Revival of the Religious Sciences, The Destructive Traits, in five volumes, went through Kitabs from the Arabic source to a print-ready layout.
