What do you like best about KIRIM.EMAIL?

It's a good platform with all the features you need to collect emails and send out marketing messages. I like the autoresponder feature, great for welcome drip campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KIRIM.EMAIL?

Everything was going well until we hit two issues:

1. Zombie Email Remover

All of a sudden our email list shrank. They'd decided they'd just delete emails they classed as Zombie emails. Took a while to get answers out of them, we even emailed some of the contacts and they responded that actually they would like to get emails from us.

What do you like best about KIRIM.EMAIL?

I have been using their service for around 2 years. Initially, I provided them 5 star review. But after 2 years, I am forced to update my review and I may switch out of their service also. Their general autoresponder system works well, but will not let you serve your clients as they will delete your contacts and priceless leads/contacts if you do not send emails to them for 3 months (default is now one month)!

This means if you do not send anything to any contact for 1 month (by default), that contact will be deleted for good! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KIRIM.EMAIL?

Meet their so-called feature "Zombie Emails Remover"! Initially, they used to remove inactive emails after 3 years of inactivity. But recently they changed that to 3 months max (their default was 1 month). They did that without any notice and deleted most of my high-value contacts. Now let me tell you the problems with that so-called feature (I did my research and contacted them also).

1. As the default is 1 month, if you do not send any emails to them within that time, that contacts are gone.

2. If one of your customer is in vacation or just choose to not read your email (because of title or it is in the promotional tab), that contact will also be gone in 1-3 months.

3. They say this feature will increase the open rate. Let me explain the real situation:

- Suppose you have a contact list of 1000 contacts. Let's say your initial open rate is 30% of that. Which means 300 people opened your email.

- After their cleanup, they are likely to remove around 40% your contacts (so-called inactive contacts). However, atleast half of that would open your email in future at some point if you could send emails with proper title.

- Now you have 600 contacts. If you send new emails to them, around 200 of previous openers will open your email and a new 70 will open who didn't open last time. So the total is 270 people this time (which is 30 less than the last time).

- But But But! The 270 is 45% of 600. See? The open rate is increased, although the total number of opened emails reduced a lot.

Also, their transactional emails are supper bad. They go straight to the spam folders.

Also, a lot of time their service stops sending emails to your customers and you won't notice this. They won't fix that as well unless you contact them.

What do you like best about KIRIM.EMAIL?

Support reacts within 1-2h which is ok for a standard problem raised via chat. Could be quicker in resolving issues since everything needs to be escalated to level 3 support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KIRIM.EMAIL?

Well to be honest the biggest problems are:

1. Emails send and received do not work 100%. Based on our calculation, emails sent out do sometimes not reach the recipient. I would say reliability around 80%. This alone is a problem for a B2B service.

2. Hackers compromised their SMPT and used it for SPAM, which led to KIRIM.MAIL's IP addresses being marked as contaminated by most email providers globally. As a result, even fewer emails were reaching the recipient's inbox..

3. The UI is chaos. They have 4 different login pages: admin, and webmail thus resulting in multiple failed logins, resulting in IP blocking . Which makes working with them very hard, at least for the 60-minutes that a user is IP-blocked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Let me address each point one by one:

1. Currently, all email delivery activities in Kerjamail go through a filter. This filter is in place to ensure that emails sent to recipients comply with our Terms of Service (TOS). If there are delivery issues, we can track the cause.

2. Regarding the issue with hackers compromising our SMTP and the subsequent IP address contamination, please know that we have already implemented stronger security measures to prevent such incidents in the future. We are also collaborating with email providers to restore our IP reputation and improve deliverability.

3. We are aware that the current UI, with multiple login pages, can cause frustration and inconvenience. Our team is already working on streamlining the user interface to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. Additionally, please note that user IP blocking occurs when a user enters the wrong password five times. This is used to ensure unauthorized users cannot access your account. If you are using a static IP, you can contact our support team to request whitelisting your IP to prevent future blocking.

What do you dislike about KIRIM.EMAIL?

We have encountered a significant issue with our email provider, Kirim, that seems to persist without any resolution in sight. Despite relying on Kirim to send emails to our platform users, we face excessive delays when attempting to upload our users' email lists. This prolonged uploading process is primarily due to Kirim's meticulous verification of each individual email address, which results in an upload duration of more than 24 hours. Even for a platform with a substantial user base like ours, where hundreds of thousands of users are present, the upload of just 10,000 contacts on Kirim takes an astonishing seven days.

We have reached out to their support team for assistance, but their response has been highly unsatisfactory, as they merely acknowledge the issue and provide vague timelines of a few days or even weeks for resolution. This frustrating experience has led us to conclude that Kirim may be suitable for small businesses with around 100 users, but it should be avoided by anyone with more than 500 users.

Despite raising our concerns directly to Kirim's CEO, the response has been unhelpful, with promises of ongoing fixes and redirection back to the support team, which has proven to be a nightmare to deal with. Consequently, we find ourselves wasting an entire day every week attempting to upload lists on Kirim, only to find that the process still does not work. Kirim suggests using Google Sheets or CSV files as alternatives, but those options have also failed to resolve the issue, or they result in a 24-hour upload duration for a mere 500 users.

In summary, based on our experience, we strongly advise staying away from this product and exploring alternative email service providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

KIRIM.EMAIL is a promising email marketing and automation tool. It's an excellent choice for sending a massive amount of messages to users' inboxes. The great is that there is an email validation built-in.

Kirim Email provides a decent email marketing platform, with neat features such as:

* Email validation and Zombie Email Removal (my favorite)

* Autoresponders

* Broadcasts

* Lists, tags, and segments

* Email automation feature (see below)

* Hosted landing pages

* Built-in responsive email builder

* Integration with WordPress, WooCommerce, Zapier, Pabbly Connect, Webhook and API support, and many others

* Nice and responsive customer service

* Basic viral contests feature

* VERY generous email credit (top leverage)

* Emails support RTL (Arabic, Urdu, ...)

What do you dislike about KIRIM.EMAIL?

There are some drawbacks that I hope the team fixes

* Email automation is pretty basic. You cannot create sophisticated workflows as in Recharge or even INBOX. It misses a lot of detailed triggers, actions, and filters

The design platform is fantastic with a user-friendly backend panel.
