I use Kipu every weekday for client tracking. It gives me an all-in-one platform to track different client outcomes, rounds, group notes, and more. I find it straightforward and easy to navigate. I really value the bi-weekly tabs and the simplicity of the layout for self-reported measures. The initial setup was very easy for me, and I am likely to recommend Kipu with a score of 10 out of 10. I like how the Kipu dashboard shows all the clients, and it even uses a man or woman icon according to the client's gender, which I find pretty neat. I like the easy-to-access dropdowns in Kipu. This feature is particularly useful for nursing documentation, making it simple to select completed educational topics for patients, especially when dealing with detox patients and substance use education. The dropdown feature helps streamline documenting education aspects, though I wish it included more educational components for nursing for improved patient care. I would like Kipu to include an education section as it's not currently available. This feature would help with nursing documentation, especially for patient education. I'm taking care of detox patients and need to educate them about substance use. Each substance requires specific education, and I'd like to select completed education sessions from dropdowns. I find Kipu really beneficial for organizing and securely storing medical records and viewing client vitals in one place. I like its good charts and features like duplicating forms and deleting them efficiently, which makes my work much more time-effective and easier. Kipu can be difficult to navigate, and important information is often scattered across multiple sections. For instance, when I’m trying to review prior assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, medications, labs, and discharge details, I often have to bounce back and forth between different areas of the system. I like the simple layout of Kipu, which makes it easy to look up a client and find notes from other staff or the medical team. I appreciate that I can see if clients have lab requisitions due or need to know anything related to the court system.
