## About Kiin
Kiin provides immersive learning in which learners embody someone else to empathise with diverse experiences and perspectives. This training can be used on its own, or as part of existing HR, L&amp;D, DEI or Compliance training programs. Kiin also provides expert VR facilitators and scientifically provably results of learner compliance and behaviour change post-training. Kiin&#39;s immersive training suite comes from 20+ years of research into the science of embodiment by its founders, Mel Slater and Mavi Sanchez, who are the most cited scientists in VR.

**What do you like best about Kiin?**

Working with KIIN has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. Their innovative use of virtual reality to deliver Diversity & Inclusion training is both powerful and deeply engaging. One of the things I appreciate most is how easy their product is to use — not only is the experience intuitive, but the way they train teams to use the technology is clear, engaging, and incredibly user-friendly.

We used the product very frequently in most of our offices, training over 200 people across the globe with ease, thanks to how seamlessly the product integrates into existing systems. We were also able to simply uploaded their software onto our own VR headsets, and the implementation process was remarkably smooth. It’s a scalable, plug-and-play model that works incredibly well for global organizations. 

Beyond the product itself, KIIN’s customer service has been exceptional. The team took time to gain a deep understanding of our context and challenges, which allowed them to tailor the experience to our needs. They were proactive, responsive, and consistently flexible — whether it was around timelines, evolving requirements, or working across time zones.

Additionally, KIIN’s strong global network of suppliers meant they could easily accommodate our international footprint, delivering consistent support and high-quality experiences in multiple locations.

I can’t recommend KIIN highly enough. Their product is innovative and easy to use, their team is a joy to work with, and the impact they deliver is real and far-reaching.

**What do you dislike about Kiin?**

Honestly, there isn’t anything I would point to as a dislike. If anything, it’s rare to find a provider that combines innovation, responsiveness, and global adaptability this well. It’s been a genuinely smooth and collaborative experience.
I’d love to see KIIN continue to expand their offering into even more immersive scenarios or use cases beyond D&I — their potential to shape learning and development is huge.

**What problems is Kiin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main challenges we faced was how to engage leaders and line managers in meaningful conversations around Diversity & Inclusion, particularly unconscious bias. Traditional training methods often risk feeling like a tick-box exercise, which can lead to disengagement or resistance. What KIIN offered us was a completely new and innovative approach — using virtual reality to create a more personal, reflective, and impactful experience.

By leveraging immersive technology, KIIN helped us shift the way these conversations are introduced. The training feels safe and individual, allowing people to reflect honestly without the pressure of group dynamics. This made it easier to bring senior leaders into the conversation in a way that felt relevant and thought-provoking, not forced.

Another important problem KIIN helped us solve was making the learning experience stick. Instead of being a one-off session, the VR journey stays with people — it creates a moment of emotional impact that encourages ongoing reflection and learning. This is essential for achieving actual behavioural change, which for us was a key goal. And importantly, it’s a change we can measure.

Overall, KIIN is helping us move beyond awareness toward real, lasting engagement and transformation in how we approach D&I across the organization.

**What do you like best about Kiin?**

Their ability to translate ideas into an immersive, engaging VR experience was so impressive.  Such a forward thinking team who are clearly passionate about shaping the future of virtual reality.

**What do you dislike about Kiin?**

There is nothing to dislike - despite their tech-savviness putting me to shame ;-)

**What problems is Kiin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using an immersive VR experience, Kiin has helped our managers step into someone else's shoes and feel the impact of their words and actions in a safe, realistic environment.  It isn't just about theory - it is felt experience and we believe this is where the real behavioural change begins.

Someone with knowledge of psychology would be very good for creating the scenes.

Young people who are willing to work and improve on what was done before.
