"My experience with Kerio Control"

4.5/5

What do you like best about KerioControl?

Kerio Control is one of the best intrusion detection and prevention systems. The main reason why I love using it is because of its simplicity and ease of configuration. You can administer it from anywhere and anytime from your desktop or remotely from a tablet device. It manages bandwidth via prioritization and traffic monitoring, Internet link load balancing, and limiting access to streaming video and peer-to-peer networks. It helps to preserve the integrity of your network by preventing viruses and exploits, configuration-free VPN clients, create both in and outbound traffic policies, protect your servers, and advanced networking routing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KerioControl?

There is always room for improvement. It would have been better to look after the issue with the disconnection of the Kerio Control VPN Client without any specific reason. Also, one of the main issues that I found is after the connection of the VPN client, it reduces the speed of the internet. Load balancing is a huge issue with this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering KerioControl:

You won't regret choosing Kerio Control to support your business. So, go ahead and use this fantastic software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is KerioControl solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have been using this software for over one year, and it has been an excellent intrusion detection and prevention system for my organization. We have been using it as a firewall network and to link our servers to remote users in a secure manner. I would like to recommend using this software. Give it a try cause I am sure you wouldn't regret it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KerioControl?

If support cant figure it out, and your hardware is older then you are out of luck. It makes sense because I know they can't support all hardware forever, but we have had this hardware for very long and already the ips slows down our internet connection Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering KerioControl:

Do your research about a lot of different firewalls and see which ones best suit your needs. Kerio has some good features and some bad ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
