KarbunWise Reviews & Product Details

The software is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate, with training sessions provided for new users to perform LCA analyses and use the application effectively. The platform provides access to a wide variety of materials and products with EPDs, allowing users to compare the environmental impacts of different materials and select suitable alternatives. It provides GWP along with a wide range of environmental impact indicators, enabling a comprehensive assessment of material impacts. The platform also helps identify lower-carbon material options and supports embodied carbon reduction in projects. In addition, the customer service support team is responsive to user queries and provides assistance whenever clarification or guidance is required, which is particularly helpful during the LCA assessment process Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software has a good set of options for GCC baselines, but it can continue to evolve to expand on the options based on different material choices. This would make it further impactful. Opportunity for evolution rather than dislike Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like that KarbunWise handles all use cases of carbon accounting such as all data types, categories, and scopes. The ESG feature is also fully flexible, allowing it to handle multiple standards and custom reports. I appreciate the full audit trail and the inbuilt mechanism for anomaly checks that ensure more confidence in my data. The dedicated support/advisor assigned has been very prompt in addressing technical questions and queries. The automatic scope 3 calculation through AI-based matching is very useful, and I find the anomaly detection during user data entry and the dedicated exceptions report beneficial. I like that all our datasets were integrated without needing any custom work to prepare the data. The platform is quite flexible in handling ESG standards and is also cost-effective. The support team has been great. It's also worth mentioning that setting up KarbunWise was very easy, and the support from the KarbunWise team was helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the multi-language support could be improved, which would make it easier for diverse teams to use. Also, while there are already some agentic AI features, I feel there is room for them to be more advanced, and I'm optimistic that more advancements are on the way. The cost could be more competitive for the Indian market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Data is easy to enter into the required fields, once you understand what is actually required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Units requested don't necessarily reflect how energy consumption is measured. Example would be asking for water usage in m3 when meters are in IG. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how KarbunWise is user-friendly and saves me time. It's very easy to capture ESG data, which was much harder and less systematic when using Excel. I also appreciate the feature that downloads Excel files while calculating and capturing the totals of specific metrics, as this helps in understanding the timely progress of submissions by different stakeholders. The initial setup was also very easy for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that KarbunWise simplifies the process of evaluating the environmental impacts of construction materials and building projects. It enables easy material-level comparisons and generates the reports required for green building rating system submissions, which supports our building sustainability assessments and LCA workflow. I also find the initial setup very user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I'd like to see improved in KarbunWise is the ability to directly download datasets and EPDs in PDF format from the software. This feature would be incredibly helpful for documentation purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
