Since I love music, this course is perfect for me. The website is clean and easy to use as well. **What do you dislike about Kadenze?** Only few courses are free. Some advance courses are available only with paid subscriptions. **What problems is Kadenze solving and how is that benefiting you?** i am currently taking up the course "Intro to audio plugin development" and its been great so far. The structure and session plan keeps me motivated. One of the best additional thing is, the classes are online which makes it very convinient to me. ### 2. For me, this P5js course was a successful journey into programming (after a long break) and computer graphics. I especially liked the coursework which makes you produce code very different from ordinary programming courses (like programming a family tree or simulating a game of dice). This course was instructive, entertaining, and motivating! **What do you dislike about Kadenze?** Especially in my recent course I noted that graders were sometimes very nit-picking (for example, when a foreach was used when a for loop was asked for traversing an array) and sometimes they were downright sloppy (for example when a certain event in a game happened as it was asked for, and zero points were given for this, though). Scoring creativity in a beginner's course seems also a bit difficult, as you don't have the interaction necessary to get what your opposite expects when grading your program. **Recommendations to others considering Kadenze:** Taking online courses needs some discipline, but the satisfaction afterwards is priceless. **What problems is Kadenze solving and how is that benefiting you?** In my case not much. This was a Javascript course re-enabling me to write larger programs and having fun with it. ### 5. I also had the best experience with Kadenze support. I like how you break down the videos in small parts and put them in theme-based lectures. It is very convenient. I also like the design and the diversity of courses and how most of them are focused on artistic themes. **What do you dislike about Kadenze?** Now that I have paid and finished a couple of courses via kadenze that I needed to graduate, I have a very hard time tranferring these courses. Even though I contacted both schools before I took the course if it is going to be sufficient, there are details that arise only after you are done. For example, the courses were approved by the registrar's and the professor as well as the hosting university's registrar's said that they will send the transcript I need, it turns out that they cannot put a grade equivalent to the transcript. Therefore, I have wasted my time and money on a course simply because it was not properly stated in the grading policy or description. I really hope that the syllabus and grading policy as well as details about a transfer are going to be vivid in the next courses that Kadenze hosts. **Recommendations to others considering Kadenze:** - make sure both universities agree on the conditions of your transcript. **What problems is Kadenze solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving academic problems, really. My circumstances do not allow me to go back to my college to graduate. Kadenze was a chance to graduate on the distance. ### 6. I never had to interrupt my focus to try to figure out how to do what I needed to do next. As a result, I absorbed as much as I do in a live setting. **What do you dislike about Kadenze?** I really don't have anything of substance to write here. **Recommendations to others considering Kadenze:** Make sure you include Kadenze on your short list; it would surprise me greatly if you didn't choose it. These guys have built the next best thing to live. Since the whole name of the game is sharing knowledge, the desire is to have the audience absorb it completely, easily, and enjoy the experience.
