I mostly use jpgtotext com when I receive scanned quotations, product lists, or image-based documents from clients. Instead of typing everything manually, I can extract the text in a few moments and continue editing. The interface is simple, there's nothing complicated to set up, and it works well for clear images. It has saved me time on many small but repetitive tasks.
