## JourneyApps Reviews
  ### 1. Quick start, easy to use, but lacks style control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about JourneyApps?**

- I really liked the ease of getting into work. It took me only one day to fully read the official documentation and be aware of the structure of the development environment itself, the structure of the applications being created and the main features.
- I also like that everything is in the browser, that is, there is no need to install anything. Everything is immediately ready for use.
- The created applications are built from ready-made components, which are described in the documentation and some components already have advanced functions that are connected with literally a few settings.

**What do you dislike about JourneyApps?**

- I have a lack of control over the appearance (text size, centering), nor is there any way to do it myself.
- All work happens in the browser, so sometimes it takes all the resources (memory) of the computer.
- Only one level of database queries is supported. That is, there is no built-in ability to do something like join.
- Sometimes it's very inconvenient to login in the app several times if you need to test the functionality for different users.

**Recommendations to others considering JourneyApps:**

If you need to quickly create an application for internal use that will cover your workflows, then I highly recommend it. You will need to create only one application and it'll work on all devices (Android, iOS, web).
It's easy to get started with JourneyApps and quickly release your app, but if you need complex designs and off-the-shelf components, this is probably not for you.

**What problems is JourneyApps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a developer for internal applications, where appearance is not so important. The JourneyApps performs this task well, since it provides ready-made blocks that can be controlled through parameters. The database is created through the description of the model in the xml format, it's very convenient.

  ### 2. There is no faster way to stand up a full stack multi-platform capable application.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about JourneyApps?**

The ease of defining and editing data structures makes it an extremely versatile tool for creating custom applications in all kinds of industries.

**What do you dislike about JourneyApps?**

The biggest downside is not having integrated, no-code report generation, although the platform allows you to use just about any technology you like to accomplish this.

**What problems is JourneyApps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Warehouse and inventory management, delivery tracking, and quote tools, to name a few. Delivering these applications is very quick, and the relational data model allows for a lot of flexibility and re-use of concepts between problem sets.

  ### 3. JourneyApps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about JourneyApps?**

JourneyApp's Oxide IDE and code first approach make it easy to develop and deploy scalable apps across a variety of platforms

**What do you dislike about JourneyApps?**

Basic knowledge of JavaScript, XML, and programming concepts are required to develop apps

**What problems is JourneyApps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Journey Apps, we were able to quickly design, develop, and deploy a Safety Inspection app to our field operators. The app includes photo capture and signature functionality, and integrates seamlessly with our ERP system.

  ### 4. Excellent tool for building cross-platform applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai Durga M. | Senior Software Engineer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about JourneyApps?**

1. The fact that it allows to have a Single code-base for Web, Desktop and mobile applications.
2. New Oxide editor
3.Flexible working environment
4. Github integration
5. Database and Backend integrations.

**What do you dislike about JourneyApps?**

Nothing in specific, but I would like to see if you can allow to have more control on HTML components in terms of customizing

**What problems is JourneyApps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a FrontEnd Developer with little knowledge on Backend and Databases, but using JourneyApps environment I am able to work with DataModel's, Backend integrations, and on cloudecode with Javascript. This particular feature is allowing me to extend my skills as a full stack developer, and the other great benefit is WRITE ONCE-RUN ANYWHERE feature by supporting mobile, desktop and web applications

  ### 5. My positive experience!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matteo T. | Buon prodotto, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2020

**What do you like best about JourneyApps?**

The functionality of the development platform combined with the implementation features allowed us to focus exclusively on the features we wanted and not on the technological platform.

**What do you dislike about JourneyApps?**

Some components are more customizable than others. This makes it difficult to implement certain feature requests.

**What problems is JourneyApps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to manage the infrastructure anymore and the fact that the database registration is integrated.
