I liked the way clauses and controls were split into importance through the phases of following the ARM. Luckily the tool was descriptive enough for me to interpret that I was migrating from the old system and updating to the new version, rather than starting from scratch. It had clarity. My experience with the IO platform, and the people working at ISMS has all been very positive. We bought the tool to help the business transition to the ISO 27001 v2022, have a Spanish version (we have an office in Colombia) and long term plan of rolling out SOC 2 as well. I really appreciated having the 'Legacy (v2013) controls and mapping' section because it did take a while for my head to get around and migrate away from v2013 to v2022. I used this section a lot. This obviously will become obsolete in time for new users to the standard, but it was extremely helpful to be able to use it. Overall I am really happy with the tool and appreciate that most of the hardwork has been taken out of such a boring subject, haha! **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** Very little to dislike about the tool, but some wording I did not find intuitive like clusters or project (.i.e. referencing to the ISO 27001 as a whole) because in my head project means something else. But I can see you have some UI changes coming and this has been addressed, and I did notice though some of the help section graphics must have been from a previous version of the tool because not all of it married up to the live version. **What problems is ISMS.online solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before ISMS arrived, I used a manual framework that worked well for small our scale needs, but transitioning to the new version was proving challenging. The ISMS tool made the transition exceptionally easy and straightforward, removing significant pain points. I needed a good tool to transition from the old ISO version (2013) to the latest version (2022) and it basically paved the way. You save 80-90% of the time you would have spent. The more nuanced your business, the less the templates will work for you, but most businesses will see significant time savings with it. Plus, the way it is setup means it can be used to fill even small gaps in days when you've dead time, making it efficient, so we use it almost daily in the setup. **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** Nothing stands out as being particularly bad. There are some annoyances around the amount you need to confirm changes, which is understandable, but its a lot of mouse clicks. And you could get lost trying to link all the relevant documents and policies all together. But these pale in comparison to the time you save using their templates and structure. **What problems is ISMS.online solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting ISO27001 can be a significant challenge, primarily from the amount of time doing all the paperwork takes, plus the fact that often the people who know and understand the platforms used are not the type given to writing lengthy policies etc and often are already extremely busy. Very good customer support - they reply straight away and there is a real human (same few experts mainly) which provides quick answers to most of the queries or keep you updated if answer is not available straight away. Very easy logs so everything is properly tracked. **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** Supplier Management (Accounts) part is not comprehensive enough. Pricing changing, subscriptions management and background account administration are not great. ISMS.online simplified all that - we have one system where we keep all policies, risk management, audits, audit procedures, opportunities for improvements, incidents, etc, etc. So we spend much less time on this and have a more comprehensive ISMS.
