In general, ISMS.online could improve in providing an understanding of the ISO standard and how each section or control relates to the standard and what is expected. I use ISMS.online for the structured introduction and implementation of ISO 27001 in our company. It primarily solves the problem of lacking structure and transparency in the ISO 27001 introduction. The biggest advantage is the clear guidance through the standard requirements, which saves a significant amount of time and makes audit preparation possible with a small team. ISO 27001 being a very defined standard with prescriptive requirements is very well documented with templates and requirements. ISO 9001 is effectively just a blank slate - we wouldn't have bought the service if we only wanted 9k, it doesn't offer enough. The system itself really has done a lot of the work for you and I am confident that it has helped us to become compliant in areas in which our customers have asked us to improve. The system itself is very logical and easy to use and I like the percentage work done so that you can also see how much more work you need to do. Ella, our support analyst, has been fantastic and it feels like she is with us every step of the way, which is great as it means we have no excuses not to keep pushing through and not give up! There are many links to other areas of the system, which is good but potentially sometimes makes it more complicated than it needs to be and is quite clearly designed to bind you into the system long term! By far the best aspect is the amount of time you save with the amount of information that ISMS Online autopopulates for you. You save 80-90% of the time you would have spent. The more nuanced your business, the less the templates will work for you, but most businesses will see significant time savings with it. Plus, the way it is setup means it can be used to fill even small gaps in days when you've dead time, making it efficient, so we use it almost daily in the setup. Nothing stands out as being particularly bad. There are some annoyances around the amount you need to confirm changes, which is understandable, but its a lot of mouse clicks. And you could get lost trying to link all the relevant documents and policies all together. But these pale in comparison to the time you save using their templates and structure. All required sections and tools to create and run ISMS in a company as well as comprehensive templates which allow you to adopt policies or controls which you currently do not have. Interface is fairly simple and structures across sections are similar.

Very good customer support - they reply straight away and there is a real human (same few experts mainly) which provides quick answers to most of the queries or keep you updated if answer is not available straight away.
