IPQS Pricing FAQs

Is IPQS free, or does it offer a free trial?

IPQS does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is IPQS pricing best suited for?

IPQS's pricing is best suited for mid-market and enterprise teams in fraud-heavy industries where detection accuracy directly offsets financial losses. G2 reviewers from information technology, computer software, financial services, gambling, banking, and e-commerce segments report the strongest return on investment. Small businesses in cybersecurity or marketing also appear frequently among satisfied G2 reviewers, particularly those running affiliate programs, Google Ads campaigns, or e-commerce stores facing chargeback exposure. G2 reviews of IPQS consistently flag the pricing as difficult to justify for startups or teams with narrow, single-feature needs like basic IP lookups. Organizations needing consolidated fraud, email, device, and phone verification in one API get the most value from IPQS's pricing structure.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of IPQS?

IPQS offers a free tier with 5,000 monthly credits, which G2 reviewers across small business and mid-market segments confirm is sufficient for light testing and low-volume use cases like occasional IP lookups or small email list verification. The free tier also includes up to 100 daily bulk uploads. According to G2 users, IPQS's paid plans unlock higher credit volumes, additional features like device fingerprinting and chargeback guarantees, and access to more advanced fraud scoring capabilities. Multiple G2 reviewers note that IPQS's paid plans start at a significant price jump from free, with some citing entry points around $100 and others referencing $1,999 for structured tiers, making the free tier a meaningful but limited evaluation option.

Is IPQS considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly rate IPQS highly despite consistent complaints about cost. The recurring pattern across dozens of reviews is high ratings paired with pricing concerns, the classic signal of a premium tool that delivers. One mid-market reviewer reported saving over $200,000 monthly by consolidating multiple fraud and verification services into IPQS alone. Small business reviewers frequently flag the entry-level cost as steep, with one noting the cheapest package starts at $100 and another citing $1,999 as the lowest paid tier. However, reviewers across segments consistently conclude the accuracy, low false-positive rates, and breadth of features justify the expense, particularly when weighed against chargeback losses and fraud costs.

What do you like best about IPQS?

IPQS is one of the best services I've tried for detecting VPNs and residential proxies, especially since it provides FS, allowing me to determine the extent of the damage caused by the IP address. It also provides important information about the IP address, enabling me to make an informed decision regarding purchasing it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IPQS?

The price is exorbitant; the cheapest package costs $100 and offers very few tests, but the quality is worth it, although the price remains high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
