What do you like best about iomete?

One source of truth; we store structured and unstructured data all in one place.

The query on S3 is extremely fast.

Easy to connect BI.

What do you dislike about iomete?

There’s a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, especially when trying to connect multiple data sources and then merge the data. That said, the website has comprehensive documentation and Vusal from iomete was super helpful in guiding us through each step, essentially providing a white glove service.

What problems is iomete solving and how is that benefiting you?

For years, we have struggled with having a single interface to query all our data sources. After evaluating multiple tools, including open-source and proprietory, we decided to give iomete a shot and were pleasantly surprised on the intuitive UI that they have for connecting datasources (s3, mysql, postgres and no-sql) in one common queryable data-store. What do you like best about iomete?

I really like the performance and the fact that we can keep our data in our own S3 bucket so we maintain ownership of our data (at a previous company I worked for we wanted to move away from Snowflake and it was a hassle because our data was stored in Snowflake).

It was also easy to sync data from production database (e.g. Postgress, Elastic Search) to the iomete lakehouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iomete?

It’s not always intuitive but the team is very responsive and has always helped us out.

We had few establishing VPN connection between iomete and our DWH cloud, but the support team was super responsive and stayed with us for few hours on zoom session to help debug and resolve the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iomete solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fully managed stack has been a problem for our organization since the beginning and has cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars.

When we looked at iomete, we were blown away by their capabilities and platform maturity, especially when it comes to pulling in data from heterogeneous sources and having one single location to query. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
