Unlike general-purpose accounting platforms, Invoa is invoicing-first: every feature is designed around the freelance billing workflow. Invoices are HMRC-compliant out of the box, with automatic VAT calculations, VAT number display, and all required fields for UK VAT invoices. EU users get euro-denominated invoices with flexible local VAT rates. Both meet GDPR requirements under UK and EU law.
