From a single dashboard, users create professional PDF invoices, send them directly to clients by email, and track payment status across every job - all in under two minutes. Unlike general-purpose accounting platforms, Invoa is invoicing-first: every feature is designed around the freelance billing workflow. Invoices are HMRC-compliant out of the box, with automatic VAT calculations, VAT number display, and all required fields for UK VAT invoices. EU users get euro-denominated invoices with flexible local VAT rates. Both meet GDPR requirements under UK and EU law. The Business plan includes UK Open Banking integration via TrueLayer, which monitors connected bank accounts and automatically marks invoices as paid when a matching payment arrives - eliminating the manual reconciliation step that costs freelancers hours every month. Automatic payment reminders chase overdue invoices on a configurable schedule, so users are never in the position of awkwardly following up on late payments themselves. Invoa offers three plans: a free Starter tier (3 invoices/month, no credit card required), Pro at £7.99/month for unlimited invoices and logo upload, and Business at £14.99/month for multi-currency support (GBP, EUR, USD, CAD, AUD), custom branding, and Open Banking reconciliation.
