## InVision Reviews
  ### 1. InVision drives interactive prototype design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barbara B. | UX/UI Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The application is effective to build prototypes from scratch, also accelerates the design process as it allows you to upload sketches from design tools like Photoshop. It includes tools that improve collaboration: allows you to embed comments on the prototype, sharing design and project management.
InVision allows customers to observe in detail the presentation and decide which aspects you like best and what not. So our team can quickly modify the prototype. In this sense, it saves time as it speeds up communication and improves the customer's visual experience.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

It doesn't work badly, it's great for managing multiple projects. Although I would like to have more integrations, I think that would enhance the productivity.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

It is suitable to design efficiently. Improve communication with customers.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an optimal app to design, brings fluidity to our creative process. It improves the experience since the client gets a unique view of the design. The tools that InVision integrates accelerates the design tests and improves the interaction between collaborators and customers.

  ### 2. Pretty seamless collaboration between designers and dev team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allen A. | Business Analyst, Management Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I like how InVision allows people to make changes to a prototype and have the change be uploaded to the same share URL. In my role that is very important because if the URLs changed on update then I would have to go update the links in dozens of user stories manually.

The developers on my team also love the inspect functionality which allows them to view HTML, CSS, and icons without having to ask the designer for these resources.

I also like how mobile designs can be displayed inside of a UI that looks like an actual phone.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I don't like how share links do not have a specific URL for the overall grid view that shows all of the pages in the project. It would be great if I could add the URL to the overall grid view to a user story so that when someone clicks on it they can see a view that shows all the pages. Instead I always have to choose what page I think is best to link (usually it's just the first page) and provide the link to that one.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, I do not have any problems with InVision on a day to day basis. The tool has allowed me to facilitate collaboration between the UI designers on my team and the engineers because it is easy to use and share out site designs.

  ### 3. Platform on which to work large teams of designers.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edgar H. | Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It is great to work on prototypes of design of interactive forms like the model that this program presents, it is very easy to load works, and the displacement to see the progress of the different projects in which one works was a great complementation of the one that is not required to load programs of high resources to open the same models.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

This tool does not give us the option to work in real time on the same project different members of the team, support answers for questions and services are considerably slow to receive if we take into account that the services for which one is responsible to pay are not well invested in that aspect, the main screen does not have a menu of options so the actions are intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

A program that should be taken into account, provides a number of tools that meet the latest basic needs of any competitively competitive designer, and it is easy to synchronize your own boards with this program, being a complement that will help those who worked with Sketch tools previously.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing the prototypes worked from InVision made the quality review in each project more efficient, everyone contributed more quickly to the design opinion and worked according to a group agreement, accelerating the workflow, getting the time lapses reduced and there is less time wasted that is productive to use in other assignments, with more mutual integration of teams in the prototypes.

  ### 4. Invision review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The specs feature that is generated when screens are uploaded to Invision

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Does not let you collaborate with the team members

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing with the developers and providing design specs.

  ### 5. Invision Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe A. | IT Architect Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

There's hover interaction with the prototype, making it easy for the designers to test their work.
You can control transition times between screens, so you can test what animation will be a best fit.
You can share your work with the stakeholders easily.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The app isn´t user friendly, you must "dig deeper" to understand how the tool works.
The Web version just doesn´t perform well as the downloadable app.
It´s a little tricky to add support for dialogs, virtual keyboards, and other visual elements.
No support for interactive prototyping such as voice or video prototyping.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

If you want to prototype with the help of a lot of contributors and co-workers, Invision app is just for you.
It offers a range of sharing possibilites, such as controling who can edit or see your prototypes, and there's no need to export your work to show it to stakeholders.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Invision is a very versatile tool, it is easy to integrate to other tools and apps such as Sketch. It has a solid plugin support, you can download and send all the content you are designing to the development team. Other contributors can be invited to edit the prototype and comment on it as well.

  ### 6. InVision has helped our team collaboration and has grown with us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren L. | Director of Product Design, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision's strengths are in its ease of use and integrations that help us streamline our work from Sketch all the way to JIRA. InVision is well maintained and investments are being made in a suite of features, although we have mostly stuck to the core prototyping and collaboration features. They are great to work with on the support and account side of the house as well.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The downsides of InVision are the lack of great prototype file organization and groupings, and outages have happened here and there.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Look to InVision for an industry leader in design collaboration tools. They most likely have solutions for whatever team dynamic and process you have, and are investing in great UX and improving the developer experience.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision has allowed our design team to easily collaborate and review work, share prototypes with stakeholders and users for research, and made the handoff to engineers and product delivery teams a breeze!

  ### 7. InVision: UI prototyping made easy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** carlo r. | Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Very fast prototyping of UI/UX ideas. Liked the ability to switch from web app to iOS/Android style. Easy to access to other's work and to collaborate on the same design. If you need to work on the design on other pcs you can do it since everything is cloud-based.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

It's not so easy to get started. Sometimes doesn't save changes of the animations layout. Restricted number of animations and lack of personalization like smoothness of the input and frame rate.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Nothing to declare

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast prototyping was one of the thing I was looking for the most. It's easy how I can sketch some layouts and the upload them on the go by using my iPhone and test it on other phones as well.

  ### 8. The best way to rapid prototype

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simone D. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The Liveshare feature is the best thing I liked. The application supports every kind of files starting from .jpg, .gif, to .png but also PSDs and AIs files so you are operative in less than a minute.
I like also the "comment mode" area, the abiity to add comments to designs, the ability to start simple threads and the ability to mark as "completed" a conversation.
I also like to use the application with Sketch app, they works very good together.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

It's takes some time to load resources when the app starts. When I started in using Invision I had some problems in figuring out multiple hotspots and various options that could be done with them.
The application is not customizable when embed into website.
The free version allows users to upload as many projects as they want but if you want to delete something you need to upgrade to premium version.
Syncs from sketch are not in order.
Some placeholders don't work as expected.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

The application supports every kind of files starting from .jpg, .gif, to .png but also PSDs and AIs files so you are operative in less than a minute.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main goal in using InVision is to fast prototypes by using screens with end-to-end users.

  ### 9. It is a dynamic tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James F. | Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision's dynamic environment improves the design process and offer features to communicate effectively with our team. The tools are easy to use, so you can create prototype designs without complications.
Something that I really like is the ease of transferring images from other systems and the fluidity to integrate them into the application.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I find nothing negative to say. The tool is very practical and easily adapts to our work style.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

It is all-in-one solution for prototyping.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision provides us with a controlled and efficient management of our design projects. It also allows comments on the designs. It is a great tool.

  ### 10. Invision is a great open source platform for UI/UX design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natasha F. | Head Of Design - Digital, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I started using InVision back in 2015; back then it was just a prototyping platform. But now it has grown out to be an all encompassing solution; from brainstorming/mood-boarding (freehand), designing (InVision studio), prototyping/handoff (Prototype/Craft), to sustainable design scalability (DSM). In short, the entire InVision ecosystem provides a much needed end to end solution for UX/UI designers

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

There is a it of a learning curve involved in understanding all aspects such as freehand etc. but their faqs and tutorials makes learning easier.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Definitely try it. It makes designing, prototyping and handing off so simple

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision is a top notch all in one solution, and the fact it's free (for basic use) makes it so accessible.

  ### 11. A promising tool with some limitations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yaser A. | CCO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I love the quick presentation features, I can rock up a web page to show app screens in no time.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

It looks like at InVision they try to develop loads of new products instead of expanding what they already have and those old ones remain stale with very basic features.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

A quick way to showcase your app screens, they have a free plan that is more than enough.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing app screens via email, wetransfer, Dropbox etc. is not a nice way to present our hard design and UX work. InVision handles all that and our clients can review our work with a better mindset because of the nice presentation.

  ### 12. Great tool for collaborating product design workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean D. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I really enjoy the integrations it has with sketch and other software. The sketch integrations (with the Craft) plugin is the most useful, since Sketch allows for interaction points to be set and designs are able to be automatically uploaded along with those interaction points.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Searching mockups is not always accurate. I have found when searching my mockups within InVision it doesn't always come up with the mockup cards relevant to the search.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

One downside, which I have been told they are working on, is Invision being able to integrate with Adobe XD. There are cases in which this would be very useful for me.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration, streamlining product design feedback and workflow.

  ### 13. Great tool for making websites "come to life" for clients and stakeholders

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal D. | Visual Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2017

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision has some great features like comments, transitions, and desktop syncing to make prototyping quick, realistic, and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I wish there was more flexibility with modern web design features such as a parallax scrolling. Also, adding functional elements (such as text boxes) would help with UX testing.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

If you're looking for an easy to use tool for quick prototyping for desktop and mobile that's affordable and syncs directly with Adobe programs, look no further. InVision makes it easy to test user flows and iterate designs for all projects.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing our vision with stakeholders before our developers start working has been incredibly valuable. The ability to iterate quickly in a design phase helps to keep us flexible.

  ### 14. awesome prototype tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Clickable prototypes with multiple screens.
Easy upload, due to the integration with software like Sketch.
Easy-to-animate prototypes, with highly customizable options.
Easy to access basic CSS code from graphic elements, making it easy to communicate to developers.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Better integration between their different products. I don't know how to distinguish them based on the names.
Better integration with Microsoft Teams (they have Freehand, but that's it). Option to share a prototype directly on teams.
Options for testing InVision better. Currently, the limit is 1 prototype per free account.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Excellent design sharing and feedbacking tool

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to operate efficiently and create testable prototypes fast, thus saving us a lot of time compared to not having this tool. All in all, we are very positive about having this!

  ### 15. Awesome easy to use prototyping in minutes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | Creative Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Love that it supports @2x + and I really like how easy it is to make prototypes and it’s incredibly easy to send them to your device via SMS

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I wish there were more advanced prototyping options like swipe actions etc. Most importantly to overlay gifs and video

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Give this a try, they have a free forever plan that lets you upload one project so it’s a no brainier

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototyping and the ability to share with a wider audience and would be great to have an improved feedback feature or implement more features from something like usertesting.com

  ### 16. Interactive and professional tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It is an interactive design platform that is easy to use. It allows sharing design and customer interaction through comments. It provides tools to import images from cloud storage and optimizes prototyping. With InVision it is possible to manage a portfolio of projects in an organized and simple way.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Sometimes it is difficult to work from the mobile application because it lacks some tools of the web version.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

I recommend InVision because it is a solution that understands the needs of design teams, it is quick, intuitive and easy to use.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides a means to present our designs in an interactive and friendly way. It is a solution that enhances collaboration and reduces email communication.

  ### 17. The ideal tool to make your prototypes.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amira S. | Graphic Designer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

An efficient tool to share projects with clients and not only that, but also this can be done in a very easy and light way without going through a long process. It allows to know the opinions of the other users regarding the criticisms or improvements that they want to offer for the development of a project.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Its use in mobile devices is not as efficient as the use in desktop computers since when using it on the phone the tool usually slows down and delays the process because a variety of screens must be downloaded. Its cost should be a little more accessible so that organizations do not avoid its implementation.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

It is a very useful tool for you to share all the prototypes of the development of your projects and in turn you receive opinions and comments of the improvements that you can apply as you develop it. This tool simplifies the process of some activities, shares and provides opinions on the development of a design. That is why it is advisable to implement the tool to share and provide steps to develop your projects.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organization was given the task of implementing the tool in some departments as it allows us to share with our work team the projects that we want to carry out, we can not only share them with members that are within the organization but also with external members . But in turn, not all users have access to the projects, access is only and exclusively to the invited users and who are registered in the system. Through the tool we can have an overview of how the development of the projects results, as it is executed.

  ### 18. Interactive freedom in designing.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dragoș J. | Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Over the course of a few years, InVision has evolved into a fully fledged platform for creative professionals, building an entire suite of applications targetted towards UI&UX designers. What differentiates them from other competitors in this field is most certainly their latest product: Studio. The easiest way of describing it would be a lightweight and more intuitive version of After Effects that outputs completely interactive prototypes to the web.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Sometimes, the installable program is a little buggy, but at least their support team is very responsive and committed to helping you solve the problem.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Every app comes with generous unlimited free plans that you can fully test in your scenarios.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greatly reduces friction between designer and developer/client. Provides a better understanding of the finite product with bespoke high fidelity models and an easy to use communication solution through Freehand and DSM which compliments Studio.

  ### 19. Useful for quick prototypes for stakeholders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Integration with Sketch makes prototyping seamless and easy to show more complex flows to upper management who are not familiar with sketch. The mobile app is also very cool as you are able to hold in your hand what the experience looks like vs. a smaller window on a desktop.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I dislike the limited options for screen transitions, if there were more complex animations offered the prototypes would look even more real.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Sketch integration is a must!

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to better communicate with management in different business departments because presenting a prototype is much more clear than art boards in Sketch.

  ### 20. Great for sharing website prototypes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeanie B. | Creative Director , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I like that Invision has made it easier for my company to share wireframe & mockup prototypes with our clients. This tool allows us to show the client the user experience without having to flesh out the whole site in development.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I really wish that Invision had an Adobe illustrator and Adobe XD integration.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Invision will make sharing wireframes, mockups or vision boards to your clients easier and they will have a better understanding of the user experience someone would take on your website.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we had Invision we never had a great way to share our mockups to the client. We would have to save out all of the pages into a PDF which made it a nightmare to show the client the full user experience.

  ### 21. Strong basic UX development tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sporting Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Invision is really straight forward, pretty quick learning curve. It also has really great effects (ie hover vs click interaction!) for animating your transitions. Really easy to designate where users can click/hover to access other aspects of the interaction.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

You have to load flat images into the site as your pages and the interactions therein. Great for smaller projects, but if you're doing q larger interaction design it gets tedious having to edit pages outside of Invision, delete old pages before reloading and reintegrating new ones. Also, 3 project cap for free trial.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Awesome platform to begin learning about and demonstrating UI/UX development and for prototyping therein. Quick learning curve. A little less powerful than other programs, but again a good initial, free service.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been working on navigation changes for my company's website. It's was an awesome tool to utilize for free to introduce myself and the rest of my team to more in-depth UI/UX development. Nice sharing options, and you get 3 projects on the trial version before it prompts you to pay. Definitely a step up from sending the web team flat wireframes/renders and having them imagine the interactions; Invision allows me to demonstrate how those interactions happen and have the team play around.

  ### 22. Good for design review, but could be better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Easy to comment and track history on designs and even create prototypes for user testing. It's been a quality product for design reviews.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

1) It doesn't recognize me/forces awkward login
2) autoredirects if i click an email link to the main invision page
3) sometimes it just doesn't let me submit/publish comments and it's incredibly annoying.
4) Each comment gets a separate email and it's hard to see resolve vs. new comment.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Abstract has wider functionality/feature set. If you need collaboration on designs, I would use that instead.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design reviews
Saves time
Easily collaborate with coworkers in various time zones

  ### 23. Great for remote teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2020

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Sharing workflows and design specs can be challenging, especially for remote teams. Invision eliminates the issue with realtime updates. Hex codes, font sizes, measurements, ect, are all handled by the Inspect mode. Prototypes are quick to make in browser, or even right inside Sketch with the use of their Craft extension for Sketch.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The prototypes are very basic. More than just point-click would be nice. Than again, products that offer that are also much more complicated.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instant sharing of designs, specs, and assets with developers and stake-holders.

  ### 24. Never an update :(

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giulio M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I liked this product when they started. At that time the used to be top-notch. Now they are just a dinosaur.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

They put so much effort into marketing and nothing more. The product has been the same for ages. As a small company owner, I felt forgot.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Consider Figma.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing prototypes with my customer and engineering team from the design.

  ### 25. InVision web is wonderful

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

There's so many options! I really like the fact you can make the footer and header sticky, this way I can prototype long pages and it'll feel so much more like the real deal. I also really like the hover option and the overlay you can use, not many other prototyping tools have as many options as InVision does.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I don't like the fact you can only have one prototype for a free account. This makes InVision a lot less accessible for students and if it wasn't for my job offering to pay for a license, I probably wouldn't have continued to use it.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently I only use InVision when I need a prototype that's a little more complex than a clickthrough that I could make with other software. I can also easily share it with my colleagues as well as with clients, it makes collaborating a lot easier and transparent.

  ### 26. InVision it’s a great tool for prototype

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberta M. | UX Designer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I really like that it’s quite intuitive and especially, that you can export a prototype through a link.
Interactions are great too

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I don’t know why but I always find interface not so attractive

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision allowed me to create great prototypes (and furthermore to export them through a link in a pdf) in a very easy way, I learnt it quickly

  ### 27. Great Mockup Sharing tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The devs on my team like it for its ability to inspect elements/colors/assets

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The free version limits you to just one project, so the screens don't stay very organized.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

If you're using InVision with a team of developers, ask them what they like and dislike about the platform. Upload screens in a manner that best meets the needs of your team.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use InVision for sending detailed and accurate mockups to the developers on my team. Makes our design to engineering handoff process faster, more accurate, and more organized. The integration with Slack is great as well.

  ### 28. Great prototyping program!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leigha M. | UX Designer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I like that it is fairly easy to use. InVision has a great free trial as well - I like that adding hotspots is flawless and you can control animations and transitions as well.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I dislike that they don't have a good on-boarding or training to get acclimated with the program. I had to teach myself how to use the program which wasn't too difficult but I also think I don't use it to its fullest capability since I haven't found resources.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

I would recommend this program to anyone looking to prototype a project especially if you are looking to collaborate with a team.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the connection between me as a UX/UI designer and the developer. Its easy to show the developer how the final product should function and you can leave comments throughout each screen which helps keep everything in the same place and collaborative.

  ### 29. InVision is a simple and fast tool

Easy to understand where to click, even for first time users

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Very good for Simple prototypes but when there is complexity, it starts to become difficult to handle. Very heavy

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sketching ui and getting feedbacks very Quickly from users, with out implementing the full solution

  ### 32. InVision is great for new users!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I love the ability to have no knowledge of the system but be able to pop out a completely functioning prototype in just 2 hours! It is so easy to use and extremely useful.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I disliked that when I was trying to upload images to put in the prototype, it arranged them in an odd order and did not load all of them. There was either some limitation or something, but it did not even let me know what the reason was.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

making a wireframe come to life as a prototype

  ### 33. Great slick prototyping tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie B. | User Researcher and Service Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The tool is sometimes difficult to navigate as a novice user.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We regularly build and share prototypes in InVision and this supports work we do daily, it’s great and easy to use for those used to it.

  ### 34. InvisionApp Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I love that Invision accounts for the various ways a user may interact with your prototype's various elements (i.e., hover, click) and the natural progression that would come after taking that interaction (i..e, after clicking stay on the same screen, stay on the target screen, close and return to the previous screen). I also like the ability to share projects with outside users in a controlled way (password protection) and that comments can be left in-prototype on the specific element requiring editing and checked off once complete.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

This hurts to say, but the UX is a bit hard to use sometimes:

1. You can create sections for your various screens to live in, like categories, which is great. And, you can drag your screens or assign your to different sections, as needed. Both of these features are great. However, moving the sections up and down the page can only be accomplished via up and down arrows, as opposed to dragging. This is fine if your prototype only has a few sections, but when you have a lot of screens for a large project, moving sections becomes daunting and takes a long time if you need to move one section from the end closer to the top.

2. When you add new screens, they don't automatically appear in the section you were last in. They're added somewhat randomly, at least for me. I've had times where the new screens are added to the bottom of the page. Other times, they'll appear in random sections and I can't find them. It would be nice if I could select the section I would like the screens to be added to before they just populate the page.

3. It's difficult to see which screen to link a hotspot to in the dropdown list when in "Build" mode.

4. When in Preview and Build mode, you can hit the name of your project to see all of the screens in the project along the bottom of your screen horizontally. The previews are so small, that for large projects it can be difficult to tell which screen is which as you scroll through.

5. Sharing is a bit confusing. You can share directly from a screen you're on, and you can share from the main project page. You can also see all of the sharing links you've sent out in a list. The difficulty is that the list tells you the Invision-based URL and what screen # the share was made on. It doesn't show you the actual name of the screen (i.e., CTA Test Screen), the actual screen itself, who it was shared with and on what date it was shared. So, if you've shared various screens with different end users, there's no way for you to tell which share link applies to which recipients. Also, you can't edit the sharing functionality after sharing (i.e., update a share link to be password protected)

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a fast, easy way to share prototypes with clients that allows them to interact with and test the mockups, as well as, provide feedback instantly.

  ### 35. Best Prototype Software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam S. | UI/Visual Designer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

My favorite Invision feature is that it syncs with Sketch so while designing I can easily load pages to invision to view them in prototype form. It is really helpful for me to see how the design looks when scrolling or on a screen prototype. It also helps when I'm putting together user flow because I can quickly see what needs to be changed to make the screens as intuitive as possible.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Theres nothing about the current design of invision that really bothers me but I would like it if it had more screen transition options. It's also nearly impossible to successfully incorporate micro interactions into prototypes as they seem to always bug out after being dropped into the software.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

I recommend users to definitely install the invision plugin on sketch so they can sync their art boards to the platform. When editing those art boards make sure they have the same name, so you can quickly make updates to your prototype in real time.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When using invision I can quickly and efficiently turn my designs into clickable prototypes. I use Invision for all stages of user testing as it is also easy to share links to prototypes and simple enough for participants to open up and use.

**What do you like best about InVision?**

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design proofing

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision has a very simple and intuitive interface, which makes it very easy to create dynamic mockups of websites or apps.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Unfortunately the free version is quite limited and the price of subscriptions is not very cheap.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision makes it possible to speed up the process of websites or apps prototyping. You can avoid drawing the UI manually through Photoshop or other graphics software, using the pre-set features of InVision.

  ### 40. Easy to bring your project/ app to life

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Isn't about Invision properly, but is sad to have only one project to work at a time for free.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Great enviroment to test and bring your prototypes to life, and even better when working on team.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a graphic designer, was complicated to show/explain and simulate internet projects, specially with the developer team. With InVision Is Easy to preview every click or move. The all team collaborate together.

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It was easy to use and fast to make quick changes as duplicating a button or changing text

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

You have to spend a lot of time prototyping to make sure everything works fine

  ### 45. InVision Detailed Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ketan H. | Senior UX Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Everyone should try InVision because it is a very helpful tool for sharing your designs with the client. With this, you can also make clickable and interactive prototypes to share with the client. When shared with the client, they can also comment on the designs then and there itself. We can even share .gf images. If you want to start a new project and want to share initial concepts or references, you can do it with the mood board. With the latest update, I like the on hover feature which makes it feel like a live website while sharing it with the client.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The only thing I am facing problem is the grouping system. If there was an option to group similar products, it would have been easier to projects and easy to find it.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

I would like to recommend it to everyone who wants to share their work and wants the feedback there itself. Why recommended, firstly it free, you get to do interactive prototyping. Can create mood boards. What else does one need now?

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem I was facing is that the clients were giving feedback in a word document, with this I was not able to track as on which page the feedback is related or for which section. But now with InVision, clients are giving online only by which I know where it is related and what do they exactly mean.

User flow and user interaction

  ### 48. Invision Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ansell L. | UX/ UI designer , Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2018

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Invision is one of the best software for sharing and making prototypes, it is so easy to use and understand for any novice, the prototypes are also interactive which is more exciting for the clients to see. They also have feature for user testing and collecting information after the design is all ready this is specially very good as you do not need to use another software again for testing.
Invision also has an option to make mood boards which is also helpful for showing to clients all in one place and it also supports GIFs.
Invision has also come up with InVision studio which is such a wonderful product on its own. There is soo much scope with invision studio, it is better than all the other designing software as one can also animate and prototype within. The best part is that it is FREE, who does not love FREE products.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

There is nothing much that i dislike in Invision as i regularly use it and love it. I think maybe a few things which can be added as another product is maybe project management although they already have task management but project management will help alot.

I think they should start prototypes for AR/VR and MR too as these are the new medias. This will help them to capture the future market too.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

InVision is a wonderfull product especially if you are a ui/ux designer or product designer. It is a must needed as it has all the feature for you once your design is ready, from prototyping to commenting, task allotment, user testing, mood boards, a mobile version (in which the prototype can be sent to the desired client through SMS also), smart watch prototyping.
It also has a learning section to learn form the greatest of companies about their process and how they scaled up their design teams. Recently InVision has also launched Invision Studio and Design System Manager which is one of the biggest game changers in the industry.
I think nothing can stop invision from success now.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Invision helps me to design better products with immediate feedback from clients through the comments sections and also user testing with their additional feature of user testing.

  ### 49. Perfect tool for fast prototyping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

When coupled with Sketch using the Craft plugin, making hi-fi prototypes is easier than ever! Even without the plugin, you can make hotspots right in your browser on Invision.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I dislike the amount of transition options for interactions but what is there is enough for a quick mock up.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Definitely use the Craft plugin if using Invision with Sketch or Photoshop.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Invision allows me to share my vision with stakeholders rather than presenting static screens, I can show the whole flow as it would exist in the real world!

  ### 50. Incredible for freehanding, prototyping, and creating boards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2019

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The best part about InVision is the capability of creating interactive prototypes using designs imported and synced from the designs application Sketch. It makes organizing and making prototypes interactive with ease.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

InVision does require the cache and internet history to be cleared quite frequently in order for prototypes and interactivity to load and function correctly.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration with other designers to gain more insight into other opinions of how to best execute our vision.
