Recommendations to others considering Intermapper:
Intermapper can do most, if not all, of what more expensive competitors can do. It's also easier to use than many of those competitors. It's also completely cross platform - it's supported on Mac, Windows, and many *nix flavors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Intermapper solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Intermapper since it was a free, Mac-only product back in 1996. It has always been the least expensive (even after it stopped being free) and easiest-to-use SNMP-based monitoring program on the market. We use it to graphically represent our entire network, as well as subsets of our network, like wireless access points or IP video cameras. The web interface allows our technicians to use iPhones to get a quick glance at the network and make easy diagnoses. The InterMapper Remote Access application makes creating and maintaining maps WYSIWYG and quick to create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
