There are various tools available in the market for installer creation, which either support a single operating system or lack robustness and easy to use. IA had lots of features which can be used directly to fulfill your installer requirements. Advanced functionality can be implemented in Java which is again a robust programming language. **What do you dislike about InstallAnywhere?** There is nothing specific in IA which I don't like in InstallAnywhere. Any Application Packaging Engineer will able to use InstallAnywhere tool. **Recommendations to others considering InstallAnywhere:** Great tools for installer development. One can opt it without any doubt. **What problems is InstallAnywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** In my current organization we have lots of desktop applications that need to run on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. The merge module part of it is easy for the deployment of the binaries. **What do you dislike about InstallAnywhere?** For the complex project which has different flows and based on one flow dynamically it difficult to use the existing panels in the InstallAnywhere. We need to write the custom panels, rules, actions, and the development cycle will take a good amount of time as we need to write the business and custom code. **What problems is InstallAnywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** InstallAnywhere gives the solution to bundle a single ISO for the platforms(Ex. We bundled windows, Linux and AIX). The deployment of the binaries is easy with help of merge modules. (As we have multiple components which get deployed through this merge modules) ### 3. I also like the integrations InstallAnywhere allows, which gives users the ability to use different scripting and programming language to perform a task. **What do you dislike about InstallAnywhere?** There is nothing to dislike but windows installers can be improved; just like shell scripting is very easy to use in Linux installers, bat scripting is very hard for windows. **What problems is InstallAnywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am successfully able to create an installer for my products which can be installed in multiple ways like Console, GUI, Silent, Docker installation. ### 6.
