Longview Tax automates a lot of manual data entry and thus eliminates a lot of risk around review and validation. Its cloud based so definitely helps in accessing the data from anywhere. Before Longview Tax, I have been managing the taxes through Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and obviously I was used to that way of calculations and analysis. What problems is Longview Tax solving and how is that benefiting you? Personally for me, Longview Tax is saving a lot of time before the close of the books. The tool helps me manage my data volumes and with a lot of accuracy. In addition, I can always use the Data visulaisations for a better decision making. From our perspective, Longview Provision is the best income tax provision product on the market. Our reporting has been significantly enhanced with the unlimited report capabilities. Calculations are extremely fast, even while using state-by-state, current and deferred calculations. The robust data functionality has made our processes very effective and efficient. This product has elevated our overall tax provisioning experience. Longview has been essential for us in preparing for the OECD’s BEPS, Pillar Two. The software has been critical in helping us access the data for calculating as well as automating US GAAP to GloBE adjustments obtained from our financial consolidating tool. We can calculate and track Globe ETRs by jurisdiction, create a second set of tax books under GLOBE rules, and maintain data and determine our safe harbor eligibility. We can also recast the deferred provision using the required 15% deferred tax rate seamlessly. Additionally, this tool will assist us with the global tax compliance requirements making the obstacles of Pillar Two financial reporting and compliance much easier to manage.
