What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?

The hoster offers a good all-round service. We have also activated a CMS (which was already pre-installed). The support handles our requests very fast. I can activate the most important services myself in the admin area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?

The customer service, 99.9% of the time I get very helpful support. When I need to understand issue this minute, I click the chat and get help. Often things InMotion doesn't normally handle they help me with which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?

I'd like to be able to buy addons such as space without having to go through upgrading my package. Secondly on the WHM it a pain getting to were it tells how much space I have left. I'm like that information on the AMP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering InMotion Hosting:

I've had issues but many less than any of the other hosting services I've used in the last 20+ years. That why I stay with InMotions. Issues get fixed ASAP and if I'm not happy I can email a manager however I've only had to do that once. I did a lot of research before picking a hosting company and after a week of calling and reading reviews, InMotion was my choice and I plan to stay with them. What problems is InMotion Hosting solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm a WordPress and graphic designer with a long list of clients who have websites. While all the websites plugin and themes are kept up to date, many of these websites are over 10 years old. I had issues updating to PHP 7 on the older sites but the support at InMotiong helped me fix these older codes so I could run PHP 7 without crashing the older websites. What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?

What I like most about InMotion is their solid customer support and the fact that they offer SSL security as part of their service cost. I have previously dealt with another hosting service provider and their level of customer service did not match up to InMotion. What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?

What I dislike is perhaps the price. I have InMotion to be a bit expensive; however, that being said - they provide excellent customers service and offer SSL security with many of their packages. "Best customer support in the web hosting industry"

What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?

I happen to work near their support center in Virginia Beach, and I was able to visit and talk with their support staff face-to-face and help them with product development. I mention that because they truly care about refining their hosting tools. Their AMP hosting dashboard is clean and easy to use. I especially enjoy that I can reboot my VPS servers from AMP. With other VPS providers, I needed to have support do it for me. I also like that they explicitly offer a Northern Virginia data center --my choice, so our latency is incredibly low, much lower than if we'd gone with GoDaddy (Texas) or Liquid Web (Michigan) or really any of the other west coast based and Denver based hosting providers. What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?

My biggest annoyance is that I have to use multiple account logins to manage multiple VPS products. I wish they were all merged into one account. InMotion is aware this is a problem for some customers and is working on a solution --I got to help them test a possible solution. I recommend that you have all the login information for all of your current sites ready to go so you can fill out the transfer request form for each. They will do all the work for you getting all your sites moved over and set up so all you have to do is point the DNS to the new name servers. you can even have vanity servers. What problems is InMotion Hosting solving and how is that benefiting you?

My company not only designs and hosts websites for business clients, but we specialize in search engine optimization (SEO). InMotion Hosting has exceptionally fast servers and all the server software needed for SEO. It gives me an advantage over websites hosted elsewhere. Because I use there Virtual Private Servers (VPS), I also benefit from having a hosting management center (WHM) where I can do just about anything I need to on the hosting side of things. I also have an Account Management Panel (AMP) where I can purchase domains, request many different services, look up how to do things in there knowledge database and much more. As long as they continue to perform the way they do, I can't foresee ever leaving InMotion Hosting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
