"Nothing beats Inkscape!"
5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

Open source vector editing tool, which has all the bells and whistles compared to its competitor plus it's free! Being a designer and designing using this has been really great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

Only issue is the "CMYK" export issue. There is no way we can export the files into CMYK. We cannot be using RGB for the printing. It's been years we have been waiting for this feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great tool where you can create logos, icons, graphical vectors, arts, etc"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

I used Inkscape for creating bubbles as buttons on desks of Floorplan. This tool makes it easy. It let's us to have many layers on one another. These layers can be defined as different objects and given different properties, which makes it best feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

I generate multiple buttons using python script for example the properties of bubbles (buttons) like radius of all together can't be changed in one go. So this is one of the downside of the tool. I have to open the SVG file In any editor like notepad ++ replace the code of radius. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Inkscape?

Shortcut buttons for every function make usage easy. The portability of media content to any suitable form is a key feature. The overall ease of use of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

Lags a lot if I try to work with the rich graphic files (>600 dpi) (I use an Asus gaming laptop so I have pretty good specs and even then I see a lag). Import from a PDF file to Inkscape takes a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Inkscape Review: A Powerful and User-Friendly Vector Graphics Editor"
4/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

I love that Inkscape is a powerful vector graphics editor that is also user-friendly and easy to use. It has a wide range of features and tools that allow me to create professional-quality designs, and the interface is intuitive and straightforward. Plus, it's open-source and constantly updated, making it a great choice for both beginner and advanced designers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

One thing I dislike about Inkscape is that it can be quite resource-intensive, especially when working with large or complex designs. This can cause my computer to slow down or become unresponsive, which can be frustrating. Additionally, some of the advanced features can be a bit confusing or difficult to use for those who are just starting out with vector graphics design. Overall, these are minor issues that can be easily overcome with a bit of practice and patience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Royalty free document generator and editor"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

It allows the possibility of treating content as vectors, similar to Corel draw. This allows easy and quick manipulation of text, shapes, or even images in 2D domain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

Sometimes its difficult to find documentation for the specific features. A quick search often points to paid tools like Adobe Photoshop for reference or help, which is misguiding at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great vector editing / drawing program for free use"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

For a free program, this has really been useful. I primarily use it to edit existing vector files for use in producing laser-cutting files and turning SVG files into editable PDF files. Those features alone would make this a valuable program, but there are so many more features that I have yet to explore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

The one feature that I do not like is when you select individual lines, the way it selects it is within a bounding box, and even if it is only a stroke with no fill, it indicates you can change the fill color. These make it a little harder to manipulate existing files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Inkscape for Designing and Editing Vector Graphics"
5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

Inkscape is Open Source. No bank-breaking license fees. It's got plenty of tutorials online for getting things done. It is simple enough to not be overwhelming, yet powerful enough to get the work done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

Not much really but maybe adding simple animations can be helpful. Tracing vectors from low-resolution files can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
