## Infosec IQ Reviews
  ### 1. Great Training for Very Busy People

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

What I like the best is that I can control the timing, content and training of the staff. I can target those who seem more susceptible to phishing with appropriate training and information.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

What I dislike is that it can be difficult to find information on the reports, or how to do something. The help feature is comprehensive but not intuitive from a user/admin view.

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

utilize the trial period, then convert to a customer. It's well worth the spend to protect your organization. I would spend time testing and reviewing the online help and manuals for the information needed. I found that setting up a small test group using myself as the test subject works best for us.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the phishing problem by utilizing the campaign's and training. We have realized how important it is to continually refresh and be aware of what is happing in the tech security area. By using Infoseq our organization has become for sensitive to reading email for more than the message.

  ### 2. good system with some minor issues

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mike h. | Security Engineer 3, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

training content variety is pretty good and covers many topics.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

User interface and reporting is a bit hard to navigate. Phish notify button has had a lot of issues working for us.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to show management weaknesses in our past training and adjusted to fill those gaps.

  ### 3. Great platform, glad that we brought this on.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

The ease of use of the platform, it was quick to get started with phish campaigns and aware-ed. The onboarding process was also very thorough and thought out.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

the extra steps to edit templates or batteries. Its not the worse but it would be great if everything can be done more seamless. Also an ldap integration for learners would be great as these days not everyone has an Active Directory.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are learning about the security competence of our users. We are also training them to be more alert of all the threats that exist in the world. We are just a month on with using Infosec so we havent really seen any benefits yet.

The voice reading the general course material :) Sounds a bit bruteish

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

It's easy to design templates of all ranges of phishing difficulty.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

No ability to connect with LDAP. For a large organization like ours, that makes building user lists difficult.

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

The spoofing Templates are an amazing feature and are so real and practical.

  ### 9. Infosec great for managing security and educating employees

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan C. | Senior Operations Manager, Automations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

The ease of scheduling campaigns of both phishing templates and training materials. Another nice feature is the automatic training that is sent out when a user is phished with one of the templates. The immediacy of the training is such a great feature for helping users better learn to identify emails they should avoid.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

There is a lot in the software it's a bit confusing and overwhelming to get started. IT doesn't walk you through how to best take advantage of the software.

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

Learn to use all the features and take advantage of it. Using the training campaigns along with the phishing campaigns is a great training tool! Truly learning to use the reporting tools is great too. Infosec provides a lot of data to better understand how your users are interacting with the emails. Learning to dissect those and use the data is a great benefit for a better understanding of how secure and informed your company is! I've recently adopted using the reporting feature and it's really great. It allows me to see who is completing their training and who isn't. Infosec is always adding new features as well. I'm a big fan of this software.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are preparing and informing our employees to evade phishing attacks and other cybersecurity threats. Our team is far more aware of what emails are good and bad and they are more aware of not to click. When they do fall into the traps they are prompted to do training immediately. It's really great for feeling prepared for real attacks.

**Official Response from Sam Fay:**

> Hey Logan, thank you so much for the video review! It was super in-depth, and gave us some great feedback on what we do well and where we can improve. Always appreciated!

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

It will help us identify users needing to be educated.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

too many quarks in the configuration setup to get started. The tool for pulling over groups in AD was not so good. Also had a copy button that didn't work right.

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

make sure your calendar is clear they like to get up and running really fast.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

fairly new we have only had one campaign, but the summary reports are already making us realize the impact.

  ### 11. Decently easy to use once you know what to do

**Reviewed by:** Marissa C. | HR Generalist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

Infosec is a useful platform and my favorite part is the ability to send out phishing emails to test employee's knowledge level and make sure they are staying alert. The campaigns are simple to set up and I like the endless number of courses I can add.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

My only qualm is that while I was a new admin, I was just provided videos that did not answer all my questions. I eventually figured everything out, but it would have been nice to have some more support.

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

This is a fairly easy to use platform and has a lot of control-ability when it comes to testing employees.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are simply training our employees on cyber safety and we enjoy the phishing email ability.

I like the client success manager, the information and help they offer are great.
The customisation is very nice to have in a tool like this.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

Some tiny quality of life changes, like being able to export a list of users in excel/CSV format. as i am able to import such a list i'd expect to have the option to export such a list as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

Look to get a client success manager on board asap and make it 1-2 people's sole responsibility, don't dump it at the servicedesk. it can be very valuable

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're creating awareness and some pain points that for us as an IT department can end up being very valuable if it keeps our data just that tiny bit more safe.

The onboarding could have been a little longer. Better options for SSO and user importing would be great.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We haven't gone through the implementation too far yet, but we are anticipating a lot of benefits. The tracking and graphs shown in the dashboard look to be robust. We're excited to send out the first email and see what hapens!

  ### 23. InfoSec IQ Review 3

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zuhair H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

InfoSec IQ, one of the leaders in the field, it has good combination of education & testing the environment for cybersecurity, keep updating & communicating to have the best results possible. It has very good features, some many ways to improve the awareness. Their help & support is very good in most of the areas. Overall it is very good product rich in features.

In addition, infosec keep enhancing their platform & adding new features, to add more & better end user experience. They keep their customers in touch & update with the new in the cyber security awareness programs.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

it needs a better users & learners management, when adding or removing or even changing, if there a better way for reporting & to filter the results based in certain criteria. The notifications for the admins can not be controlled once you add an admin they will get the results which sometimes we need to change according to nature of the admin. The dashboard could be more controllable, to have better view for the things that should appear. In the other hand some of the ways could be better like when creating campaigns. And if possible to change after launching the campaign or adding it in the fly that will give it a nice feature.

Still some issues not fixed like the campaign results for who passed or fail when enabled. Also if a better user\groups management developed that will be better.

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

When you choose a awareness program chose the one that meet the requirements that you are aiming for.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

there are some issues with some results not working, & must be addressed.

**Reviewed by:** Steven S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

Everything is presented in nice, digestible chunks. People wont spend loads of time on this kind of training, but they will spend 5--10 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

Needed to jump through a number of hoops to get white listing approved by IT support division.
Difficult to download data for analysis.

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

Ask questions to Infosec IQ people to get started. Don't be shy. They will help you.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a student run research activity. Students are generating reports and trying to make sense of the data. IDK about benefits yet. Though I have seen and heard faculty talking about the lessons and posters we post.

  ### 34. Well crafted, intuitive cyber awareness training / testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

This training is applicable to the level of users we have. It's delivered in an understandable, concise package.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

In one instant when we were first getting started a question was versed in a way that was confusing for our less technical users. We've not experienced it again.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because of our used of the training system our users of all levels are more aware, better equipped to identify and avoid phishing, vishing and other evolving attack methods.

  ### 35. Great tool for general security awareness and education

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

Bite sized videos that make security awareness easily digestible for the average person. Easy to track and report when leveraging the portal.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

Not as much content for a more technical audience. SCORM integration with our LMS was a bit tricky. Easier customization of content and communications for a seamless and "on-brand" experience for end users would be helpful.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An efficient tool that allows us to meet our compliance requirements and ensure that staff is properly trained.

  ### 36. The Perfect Cyber Security Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

It's easy. Creating a phishing campaign: Easy. Rolling out training either using Security IQ or importing into your LMS: Easy. It's just intuitive. And, consequently, it gets used more by staff (for training) and by IT (for campaigns and stats).

Their staff is more than helpful. Every time we've had a question, they've hopped onto a zoom meeting and walked us through all the details and steps to achieve what we were trying to do. They also are great about keeping ups updated about new feature or trends within the industry - especially in regard to COVID-19 and all of the changes we have faced as an industry because of it.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

I wish that ALL of their eLearning modules were in the SCORM format and could be uploaded into our LMS. But, really, that's it. Occasionally, they'll be a course (usually an older one) that we'd like to import into our own LMS for tracking purposes. It's a minor quibble to be sure, but one we hope is rectified in the near future.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are always looking for new ways to ensure our staff is up to speed on malware in all its forms. The ability to combine courses with phishing email campaigns that mimic real-world phishing emails helps us to be confidant that our knows what to look for. more importantly, it gives our staff the confidence to know they are protecting our data and our members data.

  ### 37. A Great way to help with the human firewall

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee I. | District Technology Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

I really like how easy it is to use the product. It really took about 5 minutes and I was able to send out a phishing test.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

There really isn't anything that I dislike about the product.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps solve my need for security awareness training. One of the other benefits is that I can also use this for my yearly IT training to make sure that everyone participates in it.

  ### 38. Infosec IQ is easily manageable and gives good insight into the weakness.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

I like that I am able to set the Phishing Campaigns and really see if my team is really as security-minded as they need to be.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

I really don't have anything I don't like as of yet

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

Try it out and you will see how easy it is. I use mostly Phishing but it gives a glimpse into how easy it is.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are getting hit with a large amount of Phishing scams as of lately so getting everyone up to speed on how to notice and proceed is important.

  ### 39. Security Awareness Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

We used Infosec for our Security Awareness Training. The training is interactive and can be customized to cover a wide range of topics.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

Some of the directions in the questions are not clear for unskilled end users.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Infosec for security awareness training.

  ### 40. Improvement over our prior manual process

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

The pre-developed training content helps me to save time delivering training content to staff. Previously, we'd been pulling bits and pieces of content from multiple sources or developing content in-house. It's also pretty easy to build campaigns - both for phishing and awareness training.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

The statistics on the admin console reset every month or two, and do not provide any data during that time. Sometimes, it takes up to a week for those dashboards to display anything other than a "O", making it difficult to present the information to management reliably for up to a week at a time. (Notably, there are reports available, but the way the information is presented graphically on the dashboard page is really nice, but is not available as a report.) In regard to reporting, it's not very intuitive. There are three different report categories called "reports", "auto reports", and "data explorer", and each is slightly different. It would be helpful to consolidate this (maybe having sub-categories for "trend reports" , "campaign reports", etc... Aside from providing management with data, one of our goals with reporting is to identify learners who have been phished or who have not completed an assigned training so that we can assign follow-up training to them.

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

Test the reporting interface thoroughly. Make sure that you can easily use the product to produce information that will be useful to you. Also, be realistic about the time it will take to select content and plan ongoing training activities.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are starting to focus heavily on education, training, and awareness and a platform like InfoSecIQ helps us to automate the process somewhat and deliver more meaningful, effective training content than we otherwise would be able to deliver on our own.

  ### 41. Infosec IQ for a regulated business

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

I like that InfoSec IQ has a variety of training topics which are also acute and applicable to the current cybersecurity challenges and threats. I also like that the sessions are accompanied with illustrations (in my opinion, it is easier to get through the materials especially when you are trying to get 300+ employees to go through it). Another good feature is an assessment in the end of the course. This is good for regulated businesses as when we get audited, the regulators want to know the mechanics of the personnel training and it always help when the employees need to test their knowledge via an assessment. Finally, the cost is acceptable and affordable.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

Some of the illustrations included in the training courses are a bit silly. There is no option to go through the slides quicker, one must through the entire slide. Some of the testing example are too basic as well.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are administrating employee information security training globally through InfoSec IQ. The benefits are (1) the ability to administer the training to everyone in a web-based way, i.e. everyone can complete it from any device, just having access to the internet and at their own time; (2) possibility to send out reminders and track who completed the training or not; (3) ability to customize the content of the training; (4) ability to demonstrate that selected individuals have completed the training during an audit.

  ### 42. From the Perspective of a Corporate Security Engineer...

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

Training Videos - Interesting, Fun and Informative at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

I use the Customized Phishing Campaign to suit our needs - However, I felt that the options are limited when it comes to creating customized phishing templates. For eg. the font types, font size, font color etc. are very limited. Also, inserting pictures/Tables etc. are really difficult.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

People-Oriented Training Videos, that are needed for Employee Trainings are good.

  ### 43. Pleasantly Surprised

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

The self service aspect of the product and the quality of the material presented

Some time the session's with in training are glitchy and non-responsive. The timing of the music vs the questions vs the completion is off and timed poorly

**Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:**

It helps us ensure our teams are trained and proficient in the areas they need to focus on.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am basically a beginner in Cybersec field , i learned a lot practicing here

  ### 47. Absolutely the Best Value Today

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Infosec IQ?**

The platform is rock-solid, integrating awareness content with phishing simulations.

**What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?**

Honestly, I can't think of anything. Maybe that they could integrate an "undo" or "backup" feature to their toolset? This would allow an admin to backup, export, or restore the company's data back to a certain day/time.

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started with security awareness trainings, but the value add was the integration of the phishing simulators.

  ### 48. Over all a very solid platform

**What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform allows me to streamline training and helps with over all security and staff improvement.
