**What do you like best about InfoGenesis POS?**

It is easy to use, very similar to others POS, people get use to it quickly. The backoffice is OK

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

Not great integrations, and support is poor

POS for restaurants on a hotel

Ease of use. Interface appeal. Connecting is a breeze

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

Unit hardware is dated.  Card readers have issues and must be cleaned often

**Recommendations to others considering InfoGenesis POS:**

Infogenesis POS has intuitive user interface so training is less of an issue. They stay current with security updates which is also a plus.

**What problems is InfoGenesis POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ordering and running banquet events.  Easy to learn interface

**What do you like best about InfoGenesis POS?**

Infogenesis was a great POS system to integrate things like room charges as a form of payment and also for splitting checks or quickly adding an item to ring in that may not have been prepopulated. I was a former AGM in a lounge/restaurant setting where I used InfoGen daily prior to moving my career into PM/Digital Marketing.

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

Sometimes the employee card swiping would not function properly - for manager authorizations, etc causing a manual input. Not sure if that was a hardware versus software issue. 

**What problems is InfoGenesis POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InfoGen solved our room charge issues as we were located in a resort that used InfoGen so we were able to integrate that easily.

**What do you like best about InfoGenesis POS?**

Software is very detailed to use. Can produce some great reports to use. Best software to use in the hospitality business these days as it is structured around that market. 

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

One thing that I dislike is it is you have to get used to the software. At first time use it is not the easiest to navigate through. Overall great software just need to be easy to use.

**What problems is InfoGenesis POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used infogensis to print out reports to get a snapshot of sales or occupancy at hotel. Gives thorough detail in the reports to the user.

**What do you like best about InfoGenesis POS?**

Infogenisis is a great POS system as is allows you to stay on the page after sending a ticket. I’ve used others where it closes and you have to log back in each time to do another task. I also like that you can use a credit card in the system as well as start running tabs.  

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

I’d rather use touch screen vs card log into the system.

Basic ticketing and charging.

I like that you can do most of the scheduling and important actions in work on this.

I dont like the amount of times it shuts down and sometimes does not reapond or do what you need it to do

It helps make things available quicker and all in one place rather than dispersed

Easy enough to configure
Easy to use 
Lots of options and configurations

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

Doesn’t play too well with other systems including others from Agilysys 
Can be quite buggy and slow 

**What problems is InfoGenesis POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped our servers be quicker at payment and order input 
Greater control over comps and voids

This program is great for all level of users and easy to navigate.

There are a few buttons that are repeat and not needed.

This is a very easy software to train off of.

Allowing both banquets and restaurants to close checks efficiently.

**What do you like best about InfoGenesis POS?**

Infogenesis is very user friendly. It is very easy to find what you need. New/unexperienced users are able to comprehend the software and easily figure it out. The graphics are great. Easy to identify the items you are searching for. 

The left pane with the different tabs is very convenient. You can go from Home Screen to Tender screen in less than a second. Knowing where everything is located is beneficial for fast and easy transactions. 

Also, when it comes to Tendering, it is very simple to process credit cards, room charge, internal tenders. You basically authorize and accept a credit card, room charge, etc. authorization. It is easy to correct a mistake if it made during this phase. The proper tools are provided for corrections: Void, Refund, Reopen a check. It is very convenient for the Guest to be able to have corrections made the same day of the transaction. 


**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

The Electronic Journal used to be more detailed. It is understandable it has changed because of PCI compliance. It is a great to tool to understand what happens in the lifespan of a check. 
As an administrator, we use Universal Desktop to make the changes on the POS. It would be helpful to make a one time login for a certain amount of time (2 hrs or so). After a certain amount of minutes it tends to log the user off. 


**Recommendations to others considering InfoGenesis POS:**

Definitely headed the right way. The GUI is much better and it is very user friendly. I think updating the EJ to provide a bit more of information would be more useful when it comes to the administrative side. 

**What problems is InfoGenesis POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to make the guest experience more satisfying for the guest. That comes easy, when the guest is able to process a transaction without a problem and can be on their way in no time. Guest satisfaction is very important in the Casino Industry. 
It can also be a great reporting tool. It is great to know you can go on the POS Terminal and go the report section and pull up reports that will provide real time information for your restaurant or retail store.

**What do you like best about InfoGenesis POS?**

The diverse functionality of InfoGenesis is outstanding. There are so many ways to customize the product to the needs of the individual business and the support team is on call 24/7 making it easy to ask questions. 

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

Some of the updated versions have caused issues in our venues because the functions were not tested thoroughly. Also, the new Electronic Journal isn't as detailed as it has been in previous versions but I know this is also related to the new PCI laws. 

**What problems is InfoGenesis POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my position, I am utilizing InfoGenesis for several different outlets including Food and Beverage and Retail outlets. Each outlet has their own specific business model and InfoGenesis is able to accomodate to all of them making it easy for me (as an Admin) to assist these outlets and make their system as easy to use as possible.

**What do you like best about InfoGenesis POS?**

The ease of configuration, and the support..  As a long time property administrator I have seen the system grow with casino community.  It is a perfect solution in our environment because our cashiers move from outlet to outlet within the shift.  Also, the system is very secure.  The permissions module that has been developed over the years has allowed us to maintain control while giving the cash handlers the tools to best serve our guests.

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

There are third party vendors that we have tried to work with over the years, but it has been dfficult due to the proprietary code of IG.  Also we are expereincing challenges with hardware solutions that will support the new PCI environment in our business.  Sig caps in gourmet dining needs a hardware solution that works with the expereince.

**What problems is InfoGenesis POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to track usage and open up the system to allow for the best guest experience without sacrificing control.  The benefits we receive from using IG is that the system is constantly being upgraded to allow for all the new configuration needs

**What do you like best about InfoGenesis POS?**

I've used this from both a front end user and back end programmer perspective. Being trained as a front end user was quite simple and easy to pick up. The programming side was also straight forward with the GUI interface.

**What do you dislike about InfoGenesis POS?**

There was some functionality on the back end that caused some issues while programming the screens. Those were all escalated to the product development department. Other than that, whenever the system went down, that was troublesome.

**What problems is InfoGenesis POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of use for the product was good for hiring staff to use the software.
