The admin account needs to "copy and email the login credential to the user" each time a new account is created. This should be automated to send auto-login credentials to the identifier e-mail address used to create the account. Otherwise, the task has the potential to be a full-time job for admins in large organizations. The system does not allow adding/activating/deactivating users in bulk nor on a time-based basis. The global number of users will be capped; the admin account will need to follow-up individually with users real-time to stay on top of user creation/activation/deactivation. The user management panel can take an upgrade to include more date dimensions, e.g. last activation and last deactivation dates, which may reduce process steps requiring following up with "n" number of users. The library is quite extensive and can test candidates on a lot of technologies and skills. **What do you dislike about iMocha?** It's not suitable as a practice / learning playground. The Intellisense in the coding IDE can be improved which suggests incorrect options and is not dynamic enough. The question bank requires review and trial before it can be used against real candidates. The creating of coding questions requires a learning curve and cannot be imported. Sharing questions is quite a task. There is no support for the concept of "teams" - like making team shared questions or tests. They are created and shared with individuals which becomes quite a task to manage across a large team. **Recommendations to others considering iMocha:** Consider the effort you'll need to review existing content, create new questions or skills and tests and see how reasonably easy or hard it is for the candidates to attempt the tests. Customers should benchmark the tests by having their ideal candidate take the test and see how they score before trying to use the tests against recruitment candidates. **What problems is iMocha solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted a playground for our students to have which automatically evaluates their code and gives us a score back for their performance. The customisable tests mean that you can develop bespoke assessments which relate closely to your key skills, but the Interview Mocha team have also worked very closely with us to develop these also. Finally, the reporting that is available is excellent too, allowing us to drill down into specific areas/questions on each candidate, as well as to assess candidate feedback on different tests. **What do you dislike about iMocha?** Initially, the library of tests was very focused on the IT/Development sector so there weren't many tests related to our field (Engineering). That said, the team at IM have worked closely with us to create these and conduct thorough research when creating new questions. **What problems is iMocha solving and how is that benefiting you?** Interview Mocha gives us yet another method to properly assess our candidate's technical abilities and is a great compliment to our interview process. I appreciated the time that Anu spent in pointing us to the newest and best tests on the platform for the types of roles we were recruiting for. I've shown the platform to some colleagues and they're impressed with the clear nature of the questions, the impartiality of the reports, and the proctoring features. **What do you dislike about iMocha?** Currently the system says we can't use video proctoring with IE10 – which is the default browser that we use at our organisation – but that is our problem not yours! Separately, Anu and I picked up a couple of issues with the proctoring warnings during our onboarding, but we agreed that these are not the end of the world, and Anu said they were in backlog for fixing soon anyway. **What problems is iMocha solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're looking to test internal and external candidates to ensure they have the skills they claim they do. Some are outright incorrect, that is, correct answer is marked as incorrect and incorrect as correct. Besides that, some questions contain bad English grammar with spelling mistakes and faulty use of pronoun references. Also, the engine is quite cruel; with multi-choice questions it would be better if each correct answer could be 1 point, not answering could give 0 points and an incorrect answer e.g. -1.5 points. Now it can be that when you know 4/5 of the alternatives you still get 0 points because one was incorrect! That's not very fair. **Recommendations to others considering iMocha:** It's worth trying, but you cannot fully trust the question bank questions. **What problems is iMocha solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently just assessments, but maybe in the future that could be used for interviews / recruiting. You can also edit the skills you need tested in the assessments you have on your profile.
