one of the best databases on wrds. companies and data are easy to find and I love that there are so many glossaries for all the data feeds. I also like to campaigns you make by sending people to conferences, as it also gives direct contact with you. so far, I like it.

The glossaries sometimes lack additional details, like a proper explanation of some variables. plus, companies may have more audit fees and audit opinions for the same fiscal year: a proper explanation of why such an event occurs for each "extra" observation for each company fiscal year may be helpful. It is quite useful on how Ideagen Audit Analytics enables us to easily pinpoint out any suspect areas or possible problems with our audits. The ease of making compliance tracking manageable across several departments is also an added advantage. Thus, it assists our team in overseeing the audits effortlessly. Ideagen Audit Analytics doesn’t have serious limitations, however a few of the highlights aren’t as responsive as I might want. Let me use automating reminders and alerts as an example, there is often a delay between when my alert should happen and when I actually see the notification. That can prove to be a problem when we are in critical audit phases needing real time updates. This is a small issue, but it can delay things when we have a short timeframe. In my particular case, I requested data I needed for a study that was not readily available in any of the available databases. Even though my request was sent out in the middle of the holidays, my request was fulfilled quickly, so I was still able to finish my study report before my deadline. Prior to requesting the data for my replication study, I could not find the data I needed, even though I had clear instructions to collect the data from an Audit Analytics database, which was a bit frustrating. It has a complex and time consuming setup. It involves a great knowledge of what the software can accomplish and how it should be manipulated for a given requirement. More importantly, the user interface could be enhanced more. It’s functional and yet at times feel cluttered which is making it a little bit impossible to navigate. The last is that the integration with other tools could also be smoother. Connecting with external systems is sometimes hiccups, workflows will pause until the remote system gets answered.
