What do you dislike about ID.me?

I think it's completely ridiculous that we're forced to use ID.me instead of my existing gov.id login for accessing the IRS. As a veteran and elder, not having access to my old email address makes authentication impossible. I tried an alternate ID, and it didn't work, and this has been an issue for five years. The facial recognition is very bad, and being forced to use chat support is a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
