It has other Icon packs as well, which we can mix up and create your own icon pack. I use it on my every design project that needs icons. I implement this in my Iconfont process where I have my custom icons. **What do you dislike about IcoMoon?** Honestly, there's nothing I dislike about IcoMoon **What problems is IcoMoon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating a customized icon pack for your needs. The main features are creating TTF fonts, custom ligatures, edit icon positions and SVG support. It enhances the speed and increases the productivity of user. The icons can be used for any website then by exporting them. It just takes few minutes to update the set of icons. It is mainly used by designers and developers. IcoMoon works for both small and large projects. There are free versions available and all the features are available at one place. It does the whole work for you. **What do you dislike about IcoMoon?** IcoMoon doesn't integrate well with the system of user. In the free version the user doesn't have access to a lot of icons. Grid size is also not clearly visible at first. It can be a little complex to use at first because the steps can be different from other websites. Good assortment of icon libraries built in but then it's also missing some very popular ones. **What problems is IcoMoon solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Icomoon to compile all our icon libraries. Symbols are much more versatile and accessible than icon fonts and easier to use than plain SVG ### 7. Minimises file size and improves speed. **What do you dislike about IcoMoon?** Not quite as integrated as I would like with the Font Awesome Pro. Need to manually import the latest icon sets. **Recommendations to others considering IcoMoon:** It works really well for generating a compact set of icons in an icon font. I also find it is particularly easy to upload the complete zip file into website folders, copy and past the css and your done. Really just 2-3 minutes to update the icon set. **What problems is IcoMoon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Speed & Flexibility. In fact finding IcoMoon was what really enable me to transfer to using Icon Fonts in the first place. ### 8. It works for both small and large projects. You can even edit your icons in the icon editor, and export to all different types of formats including .eot, .svg, .ttf, and .woff. In addition, you can live host the icons so when a designer updates the icon, that change automatically reflects on your team's website. **What do you dislike about IcoMoon?** Selecting and deselecting icons in the selection panel can be a little awkward and cumbersome at times. In addition, the navigation and steps for export are very different compared to any other website I know of, so it can be a little hard at first to figure your way around. For example, instead of having tabs for sections at the top of the page, they are at the bottom. And when you click on a tab, that tab suddenly reveals a button instead of having the button on the page. **Recommendations to others considering IcoMoon:** Icomoon has a free version you can try out, so its definitely worth giving it a go. Check out their pricing plans to see which option is right for you. **What problems is IcoMoon solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem I have solved at my business using Icomoon is having a single source of truth for icons between designers and developers. It is very helpful for designers to be able to update the icons, and then for developers to automatically have access to them in whatever way is most convenient for them. ### 9. IcoMoon offers a ton of prebuilt libraries to choose from, including the popular ones like Google's material design icon pack and FontAwesome. It also lets you add your own icons by simply dragging and dropping them into your project. You can choose the icons you want from each set and export them all into a single font file! It also generates everything for you, so we just replace the old files when adding/removing icons without worrying about harming the existing icons. To top it all off, your icons can be saved to "the cloud" so that you can access them from anywhere. There are also a ton of options when exporting icons, including browser support, embedding fonts in CSS, generating SASS or LESS, customizing baseline/height, and how you want to use the icons in your HTML (, attribute or class). **What do you dislike about IcoMoon?** It took a while to find the "grid size" in the properties dialog, which is important for making sure icons appear pixel perfect. Make sure you set the grid correctly and design your icons accordingly! **Recommendations to others considering IcoMoon:** If you're still manually managing your icon files, you should switch to IcoMoon immediately. Almost all of the features are available in the free version (notably missing is cloud storage, your projects will just be saved locally). It will save you so much time in the long run that it's totally worth it. **What problems is IcoMoon solving and how is that benefiting you?** IcoMoon has taken the stress out of managing our app icons entirely. We've been able to move all of our icons into a single place, remove the icons we were loading but weren't using, and then merge everything into one font file. Adding or replacing an icon takes about 5 minutes in total, so we never have to worry about time or cost. ### 10.
