The IBM WebMethods Hybrid Integration platform is an excellent integration solution that allows for the implementation of hybrid integrations (SaaS and/or on-premise). When properly configured, it is very stable and capable of handling a large volume of data. It can be managed or installed on-premise, depending on the needs. Development on this platform is quite simple and it can manage integrations, file exchanges, B2B exchanges, as well as API exposure. IBM's publisher support is very responsive in resolving incidents. The best thing about IBM webMethods Integration, in my opinion, is how much easier it is to link various platforms. In the past, I've used technologies that seemed too complex, but once you get the feel of webMethods, things become easier. Particularly when working with older systems that typically don't work well together, the adapters and integrated functions save a ton of time. For me, the best thing is that once an integration is put up, it usually just works; I don't have to continually watch over it or deal with sporadic problems. Additionally, because error signals aren't always clear, determining the underlying reason of a problem can be a bit of a pain.
