IBM Watson Discovery is an incredibly useful and valuable service which can be used to ingest and analyze both structured and unstructured data, as well as identify relations, concepts, and sentiment in the data you provide for analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found very few downsides to using IBM Watson Discovery. One of the only times I ran into any issues was the times when the IBM Cloud service was either running very slowly or it was down completely. However, I was using IBM Watson Discovery as a student and chose the Lite plan which was free to use and therefore was likely not as highly prioritized as the advanced or premium tiers. I believe this could explain the situations in which attempting to run a cloud application was slower than expected, possibly because other tiers had their jobs ran earlier and quicker in the queue. The tool is straight forward, easy to onboard and use and, on top of all that, IBM offers a truly great support. I actually had a 15 minutes call with a senior engineer to discuss my needs without even being a paid user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One doesn’t need engineering or machine learning skills and it supports a wide range of document types (can add pdf, word, html and json formats). The web interface enables anyone to analyze enormous collections of unstructured data in literally in a mater of minutes. These qualities in my view, make it the most accessible platform out there.

I wouldn't say there is something about IBM Watson's Discovery that I espcially dislike, although if I'm being pedantic I would say that the learning curve is almost too steep.
