"Great MFT Tool for B2B needs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer?

The best part about IBM Sterling MFT is that it offers a complete package for all the B2B needs, better than the competitors in the market. Seemless Trading Partner onboarding, offers end-to-end security features, no issues even if do very high volume on a daily basis (tried and tested) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer?

Could be a bit bulky sometimes, troubleshooting a failure can be a tedious task. Dealing with IBM Support is a headache sometimes as they would just give you the links first instead of getting together and resolving for a faster response. Also, the user interface could be too technical for a normal or non-technical person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Site Reliability Engineer"
5/5
What do you like best about IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer?

Very flexible as a product for file transfers, many layers of security are available. The possibility to work in a cluster makes it very reliable as a product and eliminates downtime due to site issues. We had a site down, and clients did not even notice any problems; it was seamless as the clustered node assumed all traffic on one side. The option to integrate additional components like ICC, SSP, and SEAS makes it a complete product overall from a security, monitoring, and reliability standpoint of view. What do you dislike about IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer?

Support can sometimes be a tedious process as they offer links to documents online, which you have already found by yourself and need to waste time to explain we need a more in-depth and specific answer to our issue. The documentation is not always user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"B2B Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer?

We like the power that B2Bi provides. Currently use the tool for EDI, MFT, AS2, and custom integration processing over 18 million transactions a year. It allows us a standard approach with enough customizability to provide for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer?

It needs to build better document visibility and performance dynamic dashboarding for monitoring. We use a 3rd party framework for the visibility which is good, but would like it built into the core software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is very nice tool and provides complete tracking on file end to end."
4/5
What do you like best about IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer?

We use multiple tools for middleware and this is one of them. Comparing to other middleware tools, IM B2B tool is robust, faster to configure, provides better visibility to the file processing. What was amazing is using less foot print on resources and streams files in GB sizes without issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer?

When there is something delayed to deliver, we expect some kind of queue monitoring. Control center provides only queue depth monitoring, but if there is something stuck in the queue for longer time from processing point, it doesn't alert. We opened ticket with IBM support, but learned there is nothing available to track it for now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
