**What do you like best about IBM InfoSphere Data Replication?**

Very easy to configure and manage. Very easy to migrate to new environments. Very stable.

**What do you dislike about IBM InfoSphere Data Replication?**

It is not user friendly when using through UI.

**What problems is IBM InfoSphere Data Replication solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Replicating huge number of transaction daily with ease. Data conversion is very easr.  Replicting from DB2 ZOs to MS SQL Server Windows.
But some times, when MS SQL Server shutdown abruptly we lost some transactions.  It happened about 4 - 5 times in last 17 years.

**What do you like best about IBM InfoSphere Data Replication?**

IBM infosphere data replication - Q replication on of the best data replication technology in the market . It allows read and write on every nodes . Real time data sync . Good documentation of errors and problem scenario is available online that too free of cost .

**What do you dislike about IBM InfoSphere Data Replication?**

It's a expensive technology .
There is no proper training course available online for free like others . The set up and maintenance is pretty complex and hard . Some issues are experienced during upgradation and recovery time .

**What problems is IBM InfoSphere Data Replication solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our environment we wanted to replicate data in real time with no data lag . The amount of read write operation on both the nodes is pretty high and IBM infosphere has been serving our project for more than last 10years without any problem .

Oriented with IBM DB2 database and also other IBM tools. Good tool to be integrated with big data application.

The UI interface and the color representation

flexibility  data replicate  between a variety  of heterogeneous  sources  and target

easy to use 

flexible  data base engine

We do have number of logs to review & also causing File System issues.

IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (CDC Replication) and related PIDs, InfoSphere Classic CDC for z/OS, considerations for GDPR readiness

Big Organizations generally face issues while streamlining the huge input data. This data comes from different sources. The Analytics part which actually plays a major role for taking Company Decisions require a quality and updated data. For this DataStage plays a very good role.

**What do you like best about IBM InfoSphere Data Replication?**

I have worked for this to execute the DataStage jobs by using data replication tool to create the CDC jobs.By using this to replicate the jobs to run and execute.

**What do you dislike about IBM InfoSphere Data Replication?**

I haven't seen any downsites. It's very useful tool to replicate the jobs for message queue for legacy jobs. Due to this Legacy jobs we can execute alot and it's very useful

**What problems is IBM InfoSphere Data Replication solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To execute Legacy jobs and it's very important and helpful to my project with ease. Also, subscription and clear cut information which we can use as a schedule.

**What do you like best about IBM InfoSphere Data Replication?**

Its capabilities to read all the popular databases, and write to popular targets. I used to connect to DB2, Oracle and write to Kafka and HDFS. Very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about IBM InfoSphere Data Replication?**

It's latency could have been better, logging details should have been better.
Not sure if CDC can write to Amazon, Google, Azure cloud.

This is good product

**What problems is IBM InfoSphere Data Replication solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logging real-time DB2 charge to be consumed by internet banking and generate the real-time notifications, and delivered to the bank clients
