When students are absent for a quiz or in class activity, they need their missing activity not to count against them. This was very difficult to do when I tried to keep my own gradebook on excel. They have made the entry into the program easy, and the way to make it work for you easy too. I had a problem with it on my tablet once, and they responded quickly with a good solution. I use it several times a week, and find it easy to access. Even my assistants, whose first language isn't English, can access it and use it. It also has my gradebooks from previous years **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** The way all the students are listed together when you get out of the roster areas. It's an internet based program, so when the internet is out, it can't be reached. Usually I can find a different internet to use to get to it, though. **What problems is iGradePlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is providing a way for me to keep accurate records of the grades of my students, and an easy way to report the grades when I need to. ### 4. Access for daily use was simple. I could choose to have letter grade, percents or both. I was able to change my classs through the year as my students changed. When I had questions they were very prompt to reply. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** Remembering all the areas to click for printing report cards. **What problems is iGradePlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** I do not recall what the improvements were specifically but I do remember opening one and and thinking, "Wow. I am a missionary teaching English at a local public school in a village. I have found iGradePlus to be very intuitive and easy to use. I really wish the parents had access to the Internet so they could access their student's grades online. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** I am hoping they invest a bit more time into reporting. The same features are available. This enabled me to begin using the platform on day one and coach others when necessary. Everytime that I have a qustion or a comment for improvement, I receive a timely response. We found no glitches with implementation and it was easy to integrate with our curriculum. As a small school (5 employees), we use iGradePlus daily. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** There are really no points that I dislike. **What problems is iGradePlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Improved app for IOS and Android phones for administrators and educators. This will allow us to provide feedback to parents, even if we do not have our laptops in front of us. Since we are a Christian school, and all of our students attend the same church services, we are often asked questions without our laptops available. I just love that parents can now use the app on their devices, and can't wait until our app is available. ### 7. We are still a new school, beginning our fourth year of operation, and our budget is tight. iGrade Plus works well in our budget. It is somewhat user-friendly. The support staff is always prompt in their assistance. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** The transcript templates leave something to be desired. We have created our own right now in Excel to make until they are better. I know they are expanding their services. Eventually, I would love to see them become an entire school management system. I need a system to manage our canteen and library. It would be nice if all these services were under one hood. **What problems is iGradePlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** There is a billing feature, but I'm still not sure how to fully use it. The app is not intuitive so one has to go through most of the set up guide. I have found it a very useful gradebook which has served my needs well in the last academic year. I used it for 7 classes to record results of both formal and informal maths tests. It was easy to integrate with department spreadsheets by using the flexbile export features. When I reported a bug, it was dealt with promptly and politely and fixed within a few days. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** There is more than one way to achieve the same result, which is flexible, but can make the interface more cluttered than it perhaps needs to be. The gradebook can be accessed next year when I am writing letters of recommendation. The gradebook is private to me. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** Extra online features instead of teacher-focused gradebook features like more statistics, easy reports of classwork, anonymizing student scores to post, graphs of student work. **Recommendations to others considering iGradePlus:** If you are looking at the features for an online gradebook, assessment hub and attendance program, this program has all of those. As with most products in this category, the quality of the gradebook including statistics is no longer a priority in designing the portal. This program has similar to better features than PowerSchool by Pearson. **What problems is iGradePlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking for a low-cost gradebook that allowed me flexibility with entering scores, adding curves, viewing statistics on student work. The school provided gradebook clears each summer, so I have no record of student success to compare from year to year, or for writing recommendations. ### 33. Not only can I keep track of grades but I can track behaviors, keep a journal, track attendance, communicate with both parents and students, and run reports. I can also upload documents, and I particularly like being able to upload students' assignments into the grade book. This is an easy way to keep student samples but not have to keep paper copies. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** I wish there was some type of feature for special education needs, like IEP progress monitoring. **What problems is iGradePlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** The only problem I have is not seeing behavior comments but can see the total number of instances from the students' tab. The feature is there but nothing shows. I have to run a report to do this instead of seeing it on the screen. Otherwise, I enjoy the product and all the other benefits it offers. ### 34. It is a very easy to use platform and helps me keep track of the data I need to communicate with all stakeholders in one place. I love that I can easily upload assignments, provide descriptions, assign points and or grades, etc. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** There is nothing that I dislike about this platform. If you are using a traditional grading system it works exceptionally well. For standards-based grades, it is difficult to use unless you use some type of conversion (they say it's coming soon). And it's also super affordable, for example you can sign up as an individual teacher in a free form or of course as school and districts and it's also super affordable the annual package. You have a lot of features like access to it remotely because is an online platform, reliable, friendly interface, saves values... **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** I'm pretty much pleased and motivated to go on using this software. **Recommendations to others considering iGradePlus:** Try to inform yourself as much as you can about all of its features, in that way trust you can gain a lot professionally ad your students as well. Always have that in count. **What problems is iGradePlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** The fact that I can do student and class management it has good storage, you can set assignments, schedules, lesson plans among others. I can set up a continuous tracking over attendance and save notes i wish to according to it. For me as a professor is a major thing grading and in this particular aspect this software has a great a wide package related to it: it has grading periods, grade scales, grade weighting. It really is a one stop shop. The technical support is reliable and easy to communicate with which made me very happy. **What do you dislike about iGradePlus?** The only issue I have had is printing out data in a nice gradebook format. When I print, the information is in a weird format and gets cut off in some places which is inconvenient. Other than this, everything was great! **Recommendations to others considering iGradePlus:** iGradePlus is convenient and the customer service help is top notch. I had an issue with logging in once and I gave customer service a call. They walked me through some troubleshooting options and I was up and working in no time.
