BigScience is inspired by other open science initiatives where researchers have pooled their time and resources to collectively achieve a higher impact. The architecture of BLOOM is essentially similar to GPT3 (auto-regressive model for next token prediction), but has been trained on 46 different languages and 13 programming languages. That makes it a good fit for low-latency API calls. **What do you dislike about bloom?** The least helpful part for me is the memory usage and the overall bloat it comes with. On top of that, the hallucinations have been throwing me off for quite a while. **What problems is bloom solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me solve tasks designed for Small Language Models, as well as agentic AI operations, with only minimal harnessing. ### 2.
