Hound is a Great Simple Tool for Email **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2020 **Describe the project or task Hownd helped with:** Hownd helps us automate e-mail offers and newsletter for many of our small business clients. It allows use to also capture e-mails and send out offers on birthdays and anniversaries. It also allows us to make gift card sales directly from the email or pop up landing page. **What do you like best about Hownd?** The absolute best part of the Hound system is its ability to copy over campaigns using a URL. For example, if you create an email for one of your clients and you love the set up, you do not have to start from scratch when creating an email for a different client. You could use the preview URL and input it into the system and it duplicates it in a new email. Simply make a few changes and you're done! **What do you dislike about Hownd?** The system does hit a few snags when it comes to email delivery. They prevent more than 1 newsletter going out within 24 hours and we have also had issues with email delivery during busy times of the year like Christmas since their system gets bogged down. **Recommendations to others considering Hownd:** Hownd is a great way to reach customers. Take your time learning all of the in's and out's and special features the platform offers. Their customer service team is quick to respond, so always reach out to them with questions! **What problems is Hownd solving and how is that benefiting you?** One problem that Hound solves is direct online purchasing. Via their emails, customers can directly buy gift cards since their system is connected to Stripe. So the customer opens the email, puts in their information, and they can purchase a gift card instantly which makes promotional sales very easy. They also can connect these same campaigns to the website so that they also show as a pop up where customers can instantly purchase as well. ### 2.
