In a quick view I can see which tenants owe me money vs. who is up to date. It allows me to keep my leases and other tenant information all in one place. It has a rent report feature that I use often to share with tenants and my attorney that shows all invoices paid and outstanding. I also like that it applies rent payment to the oldest invoice first. **What do you dislike about Housters?** My main criticism is that it does not upload to Quickbooks online. **What problems is Housters solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can see all of the properties I own in one screen shot and quickly see which tenants have not paid rent yet. I can also see the properties I manage for other landlords and track them as well. I can also take pictures of my receipts and record other expenses within the app making tax time a lot easier. ### 2. This transparency helps keep everyone informed about request updates and streamlining communication in one place instead of having to keep up with texts from tenants! I use it on my tablet, 2 phones and online. It's a seamless transition between them and I am very pleased with the responsiveness. I have used Quicken and a number of others and I am most pleased by this one. Whenever I have a question, concern or suggestion, the group is very responsive to my email and gets back to me often within hours. Since I use multiple platforms, I hope that they are getting a wide range of insight on the performance. I love this program and it makes it very easy for my accountant too when I run all the year end reports or use the reports to audit for anything missing. Super loving it. **What do you dislike about Housters?** A good portion of my tenants are older and not so tech-savvy. I don't want to be reminded that they haven't been invited to Housters or that I can set up online payments for them so much. **Recommendations to others considering Housters:** Not overly complex and a support system that is very responsive to suggestions and needs **What problems is Housters solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being across platforms is great. I have the business phone and can email/text receipts for payments made as soon as that is done. That saves me from giving paper receipts to them. I have my receipt scanner at home, so I do my end-of-day business on the laptop at home. I can save and send the leases to tenants whenever they have questions or need a copy. Reports at the end of the year to give my accountant for the taxes saves a lot of hassle. Also, the reports help me do my own auditing and help me track profit/loss for each property and overall. ### 4. I don't have to haggle with my renters. **What do you dislike about Housters?** The website charges me around $5- $10 for each amount I collect from my renters or basically any transaction that goes through Housters. I wish the fee was lower. **Recommendations to others considering Housters:** If you are going to sub-let or rent your apartment then try this website. It will really help you when you won't have to hold your renters accountable anymore. **What problems is Housters solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm managing my renters, insurance, deeds and accounting through Housters. I have noticed that I no longer need to haggle or remind my renters myself.
